Sunkissed Self Tan Mousse in Medium

Sunkissed Self Tan Mouuse in Medium and Applicator Mitt

Sunkissed Self Tan Mousse in Medium, Sunkissed Self Tan Applicator Mitt, Sunkissed Self Tan Mousse Review,

Sunkissed Self Tan Mousse in Medium, Sunkissed Self Tan Applicator Mitt, Sunkissed Self Tan Mousse Review,

Self tanning is a great to give your skin a healthy glow, especially in the Summer Months. I have very pale skin and do not naturally tan in the sun, so fake tan is definitely the way to go for me! I have tried various fake tans over the past few years and have come to prefer a mousse form of fake tan rather than anything else; it is so much easier.

Today I am reviewing the Sunkissed Self Tan Mouuse in Medium and the Applicator Mitt. Sunkissed is a brand I have been familiar with for quite some time; I have fond memories of using my first Sunkissed product a fair few years ago - a huge glowy bronzer - (which was actually one of my first pieces of make - up!) and I loved it.
Since then, they have recently launched a line of self tanning products. Sunkissed have always been very affordable, so I was really pleased and impressed to see they have a self - tanning range; as we all know, fake tan can be quite expensive.

The self tan mousse is super easy to apply. After exfoliating, pump out the mousse onto the applicator mitt, then simply use the applicator mitt to evenly distribute the mousse all over your body. Ensure it is all blended in and you haven't missed anywhere. I have to say the applicator mitt is really great, it doesn't just slip out of the hand like some tan mitts do. This tan needs to be distributed relatively quickly to even it out, so a good applicator mitt like this is essential. The tan develops almost instantly after application, and continues to develop throughout the next few hours.

Results

I am really impressed with the results of this fake tan mousse. It isn't streaky and is really easy to apply. It drys really quickly on the skin, develops almost straight away, and leaves your skin feeling moisturized and actually smells quite nice, which is refreshing news to hear about a fake tan product! If I had to describe the smell, I would probably say it slightly smells of coconuts.
The tan itself is a great colour, a natural healthy glow - and NOT orange. I am so impressed with the results and can not quite believe this tan costs only £4.99.*
This tan is perfect if you are wanting a natural looking tan.

I would definitely recommend this tanning mousse to anyone that loves a natural looking tan. The applicator mitt is also of a great quality and really helped to achieve a no - streak tan.
You can purchase both the Applicator Mitt and the Self Tan Mousse in Medium on their website here.

Montagne Jeunesse White Chocolate Ultra Deep Cleansing Masque

I am a big fan of the Montagne Jeunesse face masks. I have been using them for well over 10 years now, and they are still a firm favourite. They are so affordable, costing an average of £1 depending on where you buy them from. I usually buy mine from my local ASDA store, but they are available in most supermarkets and other stores. I tend to get two uses out of the sachets, so they are really great value for money, especially if you are unsure you are going to like the scent or the effects of a face mask, it is a great way to try small sachets to see if you like it, before buying a tub or bottle.

This White Chocolate Ultra Deep Cleansing Masque is a repurchase, I have tried this one a few times. It smells amazing, quite subtle, but the scent is similar to cocoa, which is quite pleasant. To use this masque, you simply apply it onto your cleansed face, then leave it on the skin for around 15 minutes, then rinse off.

After using this masque my face felt really refreshed. I did look a little puffy but my skin felt extremely soft. I would repurchase this again, as I do really like it, but I will probably try a different scent next time.

What is your favourite Montagne Jeunesse product?

Mini reviews: Aussie, Boots, Accessorize

There are a lot of products I neglect to feature on my blog. This is usually because they are small products or sample sizes which I feel I can't review in full due to the size of the product, or am not sure whether my readers would be interested in a full feature blog post on that one product. I have decided to start a series of mini review posts; where I will feature products that I wouldn't write a full blog post about and I will share my thoughts with you all.
Today, I will be telling you my thoughts about a face mask from Boots, a hair treatment from Aussie and an eye shadow from Accessorize.

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Colour Deep Treatment

I really liked using the sachet sample. My hair is coloured so it tends to feel quite dull, lifeless, and off course, damaged. This gave my hair a lift and it smells gorgeous. I only had two uses out of this, so I can't really give a full review of it, but it is a decent treatment product.

Boots Tea Tree Witch Hazel Peel Off Face Mask

I hadn't tried this peel off face mask before, and I really enjoyed using it. My skin felt refreshed and it really woke me up the Morning after I had applied it. I could feel the benefits of the Tea Tree, my skin felt a lot softer. I would probably repurchase this in the future as I was really impressed with it.

Accessorize Merged Eye Shadow in Golden Brown

I have had this eye shadow in my stash for some time now, but always neglect it for my bigger palettes. I have been using it a lot more lately, and have come to the conclusion that it is an average product. It isn't amazing but it isn't awful either. The pigmentation is great, but it creases after a few hours and you get a lot of fall out when using it.

Have you tried any of these products?

DEBENHAMS BEAUTY BLOGGER EVENT

A few weeks ago, I had an email inviting me to a local shopping centre near the Birmingham area (my home town) for a beauty blogger event at Debenhams. Off course I jumped at the chance, knowing I would be able to have a chat with the lovely ladies at Elemis, Urban Decay and Elizabeth Arden.

Before hand, I met up with fellow blogger and friend, the lovely Clare from A Bit of This and That Blog. I was a little bit of a silly blogger that day and was so forgetful to bring my camera (complete blogger fail!) so all of the images I have belong to Clare.

We first headed to Elemis, where we chatted to two of the lovely ladies on the counter about our skin care routines and the skin care products we use day to day. We then received a little facial, and were able to try out some of their best selling skin care range. The ladies were so lovely and told us all about their products and what is best for our skin types.

Next up, make up time. We tootled over to the Urban Decay counter where we had a complete make over, using some of Urban Decay's best selling products, as well as their new eye shadow palette, the Electric palette. I was a little hesitant at first with the eye shadow as I don't tend to use much colour on my eyes, but the assistant doing my make - up kept me at ease and created a lovely purple/silver smokey eye.

After a cheeky purchase from Urban Decay, we then popped over to Elizabeth Arden where we were given the low down on all of their lip products: a lipology! It was really interesting hearing so much about the care of the lips - I often neglect to look after my lips. I enjoyed having a try with their lip liners and lip glosses - a few of them have crept on my wishlist for sure.

I had a great time at the event - we were treated to lots of pampering and beautifying! Thanks to all the staff at Debenhams at Intu Merry Hill for having us! We were very well looked after and provided with nibbles, drinks and were even given some samples to take home with us!

All Images Belong To Clare. You can see her original post here.

Avon Mega Effects Mascara Review

Todays post is a little different to usual, as I am joined by another beauty lover, who is in fact, my Sister!

Shes loves all things beauty, make up and skin care, so I thought I would introduce her here on my blog, so that she could share with you one of her favourite Avon products!

Avon Mega Effects Mascara Blog Review, Zoe Lianne Blog Avon Mega Effects Mascara Review

When I first saw all of the press and advertisements for the Avon Mega Effects Mascara - I knew I wanted to try it. It looked so different to anything I had seen before in the world of Mascaras - it is such a clever concept. It is quite compact, which is brilliant for any beauty lover as we all know, space is something we could all use more of in our make up bags!  To open, you take off the lid and you bend the mascara. It looks quite strange when you first look at it - and application can take a short while to get used to, but the concept is brilliant.
The mascara fits perfectly on all of your lashes - that means no touching up the inner corners where most mascaras never seem to reach - this one does it all, with one simple sweep of the brush over your lashes. I tend to use two coats of this mascara, which makes my lashes look full, thicker and darker. This mascara creates great volume without creating clumpy, stuck - together lashes. I would definitely recommend others to try this mascara out, it isn't a gimmick, it is a great idea which is less time - consuming and that really works!

You can order this or anything else from Avon from the lovely Rickie on her Avon website here or have a chat with her on Twitter at @BeautyFaves

Love Clothing Casual - Cool Wishlist!

I am writing another wishlist post today. i have recently been pondering on a fab website called Love Clothing.com - i am sure you have all heard of it. It is full of beautiful pieces with lots of key trend clothing, accessories and shoes.

I have been loving the lovely weather we have been having recently in the UK. It has made me rethink  having to put on a coat with Every outfit and being able to be a little more playful with my outfits. I absolutely love the Jelly Shoe trend, I remember it well as a child in the early '90s. It is a little nostalgic for me but I really do think they look great styled out, I am lusting after this black pair of jelly shoes at the minute. I have teamed them up with these acid washed denim dungarees and a dinosaur t - shirt, I just love the idea of this outfit all together and think it would look amazing for Summer.

Keeping with a more casual but cool look, I have added this woman's Harrington to my wishlist. Admittedly I was hesitant to whether this would look good on me, my boyfriend is very into Mod Clothing and his Harrington looks quite cool and I thought this one would look great on me with some turned up jeans, like these mom acid washed blue jeans. A key staple in your wardrobe for any weather is a pair of skinny stretch jeans, these look perfect with pretty much anything and I really like the look of these.
I also added this cute marl sweater in sky blue as I thought it looked really casual but comfortable, and light enough for the warmer days. The lace up platforms are my absolutely favourite of my entire wishlist, I think they would look great with both pairs of jeans, maybe even with the dungarees with some cute socks peeking over.

I am in absolute love with all of the pieces in my weishlist, I love really versatile pieces that you can throw on with anything. All of the items I have picked in my wishlist could mix and match with each other, which makes them great pieces to have in your collection.

What are your favourite trend pieces this Month?
Are you lusting after anything from Love Clothing?

Living Nature Concealer

Living Nature Concealer in Light

An introduction to Living Nature
Living Nature is a company founded in New Zealand, which stock the very best cosmetics, skin, hair and body care using only natural ingredients. Their products are made with certified natural ingredients which are better for the skin. I have previously reviewed a Living Nature Blush, which you can see here. I really like the Living Nature brand, the products I have tried have been of a great quality and it feels great to be using cosmetics which are actually beneficial to your skin, and that don't have any nasty chemicals in the ingredients so it wont cause any irritation to the skin. Living Nature is stocked at Mypure; an online store which stocks many brands of products that are natural and organic.

What I thought of the Living Nature Concealer

The concealer itself gives great coverage. I do not have problematic skin at the moment, but the coverage in which this concealer gives, I would imagine it would be great if you do have problematic skin. I would say the coverage is medium to full coverage. The concealer lasts well all day and doesn't crease. The formula of the concealer is creamy and is quite easy to blend into the skin. I like to use this mostly on my under eye circles, as it has great coverage for this. The colour of the concealer is a little dark for me as I am really pale, but it works well as long as it is blended thoroughly. I am impressed with the staying power, the quality, and off - course the coverage of this concealer. I don't often find myself feeling too impressed when trying out new concealers as they don't always give the lasting affects I need, but this one is really impressive.
This concealer is available at Mypure here for £21*. - *It is currently on offer for £18.90 for a limited time only*

Fathers Day Gift Guide: Mr Nutcase Phone Case

This is the second installment of my Fathers Day Gift Ideas Series... you can check out the first post here.
Fathers Day is fast approaching and I don't know about you, but my Dad is one of the most difficult people to buy for! He has just about everything so I have to put extra effort into giving something special. Personalised gifts are always a winner with my Dad, which is what I love about the gift I am featuring today - it is not only personalized but is useful too!

Mr Nutcase is an online store where you can create your own personalized cases for phones and other technology, such as iPads, iPods and Tablets. Mr Nutcase are really well known for their custom phone cases, which is what I will be sharing with you today.

To create your case, you simply choose the manufacturer of your device (mine was Apple but they have a huge list). You then choose the device you are buying the case for, and then select the case type. There are three types of cases to choose from, which are the Ultra Light Weight Slimline, the Executive Flip Leather Style, and the Full Wrap Around Premium Edition. I opted for the Ultra Light Weight Slimline case.

The site is super easy to use and navigate around. To create your own personalised phone case, which is what I did, was super straight forward. I opted for two pictures on mine (which are the band 'The Stray Cats' and the 'Million Dollar Quartet' if you were wondering). My Dad really loves his music, and it is a huge passion of his, so I knew instantly that using pictures of some of his favourite music artists would be a winner.

Delivery is super quick (and free Worldwide!) and the case arrived packaged well and in great condition. The quality of the phone case is brilliant, I would definitely repurchase from Mr Nutcase again as I am really impressed with the quality of the case. It looks so sleek and expensive. The images I chose to use for the phone case were printed on the phone case exactly as they appeared on the example on the screen - not pix-elated and look professional.  What I love about it the most, is that the phone cases are really affordable, as this case in particular cost only £14.95* which is very reasonable for a personalised phone case.

I think a phone case from Mr Nutcase would make such a great gift for anyone, not just Dad's. The great thing about Mr Nutcase is that you can choose from their own collections or personalise your case to anything you want - a collage of photos of family or friends, a few of your favourite images - absolutely anything, which is why it makes it so special and unique for the person receiving the case. Only they will have that phone case!

If you are interested in purchasing your very own case (or for a gift for someone else) Mr. Nutcase has a gift for you... a discount code! Enter the code Thanku10 at the check out to receive a generous 10% off your order!

Lovea Burkina Shea Moisturising Hair Mask Review

This Month, I have been trying out the Lovea Burkina Shea Moisturising Hair Mask. I decided I really wanted to try this hair mask as my hair is so dull and lifeless, it really needed a lift. I have bought a lot of hair masks in the past, with only one or two really working for me - but having an expensive price tag. My hair is prone to split ends and looks very dry, so I read a few reviews online about this hair mask and it was the best I could find, so I decided to give it a go.

Lovea Burkina Shea Moisturising Hair Mask Review,

Lovea Burkina Shea Moisturising Hair Mask Review, Lovea Burkina Shea Moisturising Hair Mask,

Lovea

Lovea is a brand I have heard a lot about, so was delighted to see it stocked online at Mypure
Lovea products contain certified organic and natural ingredients. The three main ingredients in Lovea products are Tahitian Monoi, Burkina Shea Butter and Moroccan Argan Oil. This product in particular is targeted for dry hair, so the main ingredient is Burkina Shea Butter; which is very nourishing and helps to soften the hair. You can see the entire range of Lovea products which Mypure stock here.

How To Use

The Lovea Burkina Shea Moisturizing Hair Mask has a slightly sticky texture, but smells beautiful. You only need the smallest amount of product. To use, you simply wash your hair and towel dry, then apply the Hair Mask evenly onto your hair. After five minutes I wash mine out, but you can leave it for up to 30 minutes in your hair if you fancy a real pamper.

Results

After drying the hair, you notice the benefits from the hair mask instantly. Your hair feels super soft and glossy, like it would if you had your hair done professionally at a salon. My hair now feels much more healthier and my split ends aren't quite as noticeable!

The hair mask is available from Mypure here for just £7.99*. I feel that is a a very reasonable price for a huge 300ml tub which will go a long way.

Avon Ultra Colour Absolute Lipstick in Smooth Plum

Hi everyone.
Today's blog post is a little review of a gorgeous Avon Lipstick from the Ultra Colour Absolute collection, called 'Smooth Plum'. From the first image, you can see it appears quite a dark violet, but once applied to the lips, it looks a very plum / berry shade.

The lipstick itself is very moisturizing and feels very creamy on the lips.
The colour is long - lasting and doesn't need reapplying for a fair few hours. After a few hours of wearing the lipstick, I found absolutely no bleeding or smudging at all! I am really impressed of the staying power of the lipstick and how it does not dry out the lips.

I love the colour of the lipstick - to describe it, I would say it is a slightly burnt plum colour. I think it is a great lipstick for anyone that wants to try a slightly different shade or wants to try a darker purple colour, as it is a wearable colour for the day time as well as the night time.

You can order this or anything else from Avon from the lovely Rickie on her Avon website here or have a chat with her on Twitter at @BeautyFaves.

Fathers Day Gift Ideas: Grooming Products from The Bluebeards Revenge

This is the first post of a new mini series of blog posts I am writing for gift ideas for Fathers Day. I did a post like this last year which proved popular, so I thought I would do one again this year. I decided to write a few different posts aimed at different areas, as all Dads are different! Today's installment is Grooming.

Fathers Day is fast approaching, soon it will be June 15th!
In my family, me and my Sister really like to spoil our Dad with some special gifts for Fathers Day. Our Dad has well and truly been the most amazing parent to us and he has always looked after us. I really like buying gifts for him at Fathers Day as my Dad isn't the type of person to spoil himself or buy himself things, so it is a real treat to see how appreciative he is when he opens his gifts (although he does tell us off for buying him things, I know he loves the thought and time that has gone into them!). I love buying grooming gifts as I know he will get a lot of use out of them. I particularly like giving him gifts such as shaving products and fragrances as these are the products he uses the most, so was delighted to discover the brand The Blue Beards Revenge, who stock shaving products, hair and body products, razors and blades, fragrance and body sprays, soap, shaving creams, accessories and gift sets. There really is something for every man at Bluebeards Revenge!
The packaging is something that really caught my eye when I was browsing the website; I think it is so quirky and manly too! The description of the products on the packaging really makes me laugh, with a lot of banter- or shall I say Manter.
Two products I am featuring on this wishlist today is the Cooling Moisturizer and the Eau De Toilette

The Bluebeards Revenge Cooling Moisturiser, The Bluebeards Revenge Eau De Toilette, The Bluebeards Revenge EDT

The Bluebeards Revenge Cooling Moisturiser, The Bluebeards Revenge Eau De Toilette, The Bluebeards Revenge EDT, Fathers Day Gift Ideas The Bluebeards Revenge,

EDT
The notes of this fragrance feature a rich blend of jasmine, black tea and watermint. The base notes include Madagascar vanilla highlighted by sandalwood and patchouli along with oakmoss and musk.
A few people have commented on the scent stating that they think it is a unique scent they haven't smelt before and I have to agree; I haven't smelt anything similar. The scent is quite a subtle scent - not too overpowering, not too light - just right; and lingers on the skin for hours. I love the sleek packaging - I think it looks very edgy and cool, and would be proudly placed in any mans fragrance collection - not just Dads.
My male tester states: "The fragrance has a great scent. It is masculine and I love the blue packaging of the bottle. It is great value for money".
The EDT is available on their official website or at Shaving Shack for £19.99.

The Bluebeards Revenge Eau De Toilette, The Bluebeards Revenge EDT, Fathers Day Gift Ideas The Bluebeards Revenge,

Cooling Moisturiser
The moisturiser is another great product, which claims to sooth and re-invigorate the skin. The manly ingredients in this moisturiser include  Prickly Pear, Stinging Nettle and Fenugreek, which are all beneficial in achieving a smooth and soothing moisturise to the skin. The moisturiser also has a cooling agent which makes application a lot more enjoyable. I think a moisturiser makes a good gift for all Dads, as it is ideal to use both on face and body, and is a skin care product which takes little to no effort to use!
I have been informed by my male tester that the moisturiser, in his own words, is "amazing - the smell is great. It is like a 2 in 1 as the moisturiser softens the skin while also giving an 'after shave like' scent, which lasts well throughout the day. The great thing about it is it doesn't irritate the skin. The packaging is masculine which you don't find much in skin care. It is nice to see a moisturiser aimed for men".
The Cooling Moisturiser is available at Shaving Shack or on their official website for £9.99.

 The Bluebeards Revenge Cooling Moisturiser

Blue Beards Revenge products are available online at their Primary Stockist which is Shaving Shack. Be sure to check out other products on the site too! You can also check out their official website here.
I love the brand Bluebeards Revenge; it has a great manly scent I know any Dad would love!

What do you buy your Father on Fathers Day?

Nude and Neutral Beauty Wishlist #BloggersDoItBetter

Hi everyone! Today is the third installment of the Bloggers Do It Better Challenge! I have to be completely honest with you and admit that I didn't take part in the second challenge - I have no excuse other than I have been extremely busy, sorry! Today I am back and ready to stick at the challenge again. This weeks challenge is called 'Bloggers Do It Better Bright and Neutral'! I have opted for a wishlist of all of my favourite neutral make up products I have my eye on and want to purchase. I love neutral make up, particularly for eye shadow, as I like keep it quite simple - but also like my make up to look fresh, professional; but still like it to brighten up my face and look presentable! I love neutral colours as they are very versatile - they are perfect for all year round.

Firstly, a nail polish. There is nothing better than a neutral nail colour and I love this Nicole by OPI nail lacquer in 'You Can'. I love neutral nails as they are so easy to wear and look great any time of day, any kind of occasion, any time of the year, and look acceptable for work and studying too! Another neutral favourite that I have my eye on is this Collection Work The Colour Nude Eye Pallette in Nude 1. It has all of the perfect neutral colours you may need, which will brighten your eye look up a tonne. I have included this in my wishlist as it is crazily inexpensive, costing only £3.99. A lipgloss I really like for a neutral day time look is 2True Colour Drench Lipgloss in Shade 1, which is another steal coming in at £1.99. I searched for a while for a lovely nude lipstick and found 'Pale Nude' by Barry M. I do really like most of their lipsticks and this colour looks perfect. I can be a little unsure when wearing neutral and nude colours on my lips, as I worry it looks like I have concealer or foundation lips! This one looks perfect though and would suit my skin tone, as I am very pale neutral lips tend to wash me out.

Check out the #BloggersDoItBetter hashtag on Twitter and Facebook to see everyone else's blog posts on things all neutral and bright!
