Carmex Love

Are you a fan of Carmex? I am a big fan of their popular lip balms. I own the lip balm in Mint, Cherry and ofcourse the classic original. A must - have in your hand-bag, Carmex are great for on the go. They moisturise the lips as well as smoothing out cracked lips. As a really reasonably priced lip balm you can pick up from pretty much any Boots or Superdrug, you can't really go wrong. I love the scented Carmex, but the classic is definitely my favourite. A complete staple for any beauty lover!

A Visit to The Hair Surgery, Wollaston, West Midlands

Place: The Hair Surgery, Wollaston/Stourbridge, West Midlands
Photography: C/O Tim-Scott Wright's website
Words: Myself

Last weekend I headed to The Hair Surgery; Tim Scott - Wright's hair salon, which is located in Wollaston, Stourbridge, in the West Midlands, for a cut and blow-dry.

On arrival, I met Andreas; the Salon Manager, who greeted me with a huge smile. Andreas, Tim and the team were all friendly and lovely to talk to, as well as being very attentive and thoughtful. The staff really are a credit to The Hair Surgery, because they give excellent customer service.

The hair surgery has beautiful interior decor; being very modern and monochrome, it really is stunning. What stands out for me is the beautiful 'waiting lounge' as I would describe it, which is an area in the Hair Surgery with a comfy seating area, a table covered in magazines, a beauty corner where you can paint your nails while you wait, and also a self serve unit where you can help yourself to drink and nibbles - how thoughtful is that?!
It really is stunning - I would definitely recommend visiting if you live in the Midlands, as, as well as the fantastic customer service, the attention to detail throughout the entire salon's decor and layout is so on - key, it looks luxurious and is definitely perfect for a pamper.

The stylist who styled and cut my hair, Abbie, was really lovely. I explained to her the kind of cut I wanted and how I felt my hair was quite limp and lifeless at the length it was at the time. She gave me plenty of tips and tricks on how to get more volume in my hair with blow-drying, and also explained to me as she styled my hair how the products she was using helped to give the hair a lift and create a lot more volume. Since visiting The Hair Surgery for my cut and blow-dry, I have been putting into practice the tips I was given at the Salon and I am really impressed - I can finally create a look at home which gives my hair much more volume - something I have struggled to achieve in the past.

I loved the cut that I had at The Hair Surgery. I love the volume and curls that the stylist created on my hair. I must also point out that the day I had my hair cut was a day that the weather took a turn for the worst with torrential rain - and my new hair do survived it!

Thank you to Andreas and Tim for the opportunity to visit the Salon for an experience day!

An Introduction to SureSet's Perma Plant

Hi everyone. Today's post is slightly different to my normal postings here on Zoe Lianne. I want to introduce more lifestyle, home interior and gardening posts here on my blog.

Introducing SureSet's Perma Plant

The Perma Plant is a new plant pot topping product which makes potted plants look neater and also reduces the need to maintain them. To use, you simply apply the Perma Plant Topping on top of the soil layer. By doing this, it makes the plant pot look attractive and takes away the added stress of having to keep the soil tidy and free of weeds.

By using Perma Plant, it gives the same appearance as decorative gravel - but you don't have to fuss over the loosing soil or stones. SureSets permable resin bound system has been applied on Perma Plant, so that normal watering can be completed as normal. Perma Plant is also pet and child friendly.

The Perma Plant kit comes with easy to read instructions, taking you through how to use your kit.
There is a wide choice of different finishes of the Perma Plant topping. The choice is yours!

I will be trialing out the Perma Plant very soon - we love pretty plants in our family so I will be dedicating a blog post sharing photos of us using the kit and of-course the outcome once the Perma Plant has been applied.
I will be sharing with you more images in a further blog post once our chosen plant has been potted and we have used the Perma Plant Topping.

For more information, visit SureSets website to read more about their Perma Plants.

REVIEW: Avon True Colour Eyeshadow Duo in Warm Cashmere

I think one of my very first Eye shadows came from Avon. Many moons ago this is, and I vividly remember it being a gorgeous deep navy blue. I loved the pigmentation and the colour pay off, so am pleased to report back to you that I am now back in love with Avon's Eyeshadows having many years apart!

This True Colour Eye Shadow in Warm Cashmere* is perfect for every day wear.  Housing a gorgeous sandy - cream shadow as well as a beautiful light brown, this set can take you right through the working day to a night out. A really versatile duo, it is an essential for every make - up bag.

The pigmentation of the shadows is amazing. The shadows are so creamy. I am impressed with the staying power, as these shadows last me all day - around 8 hours without creasing and sliding off! Pretty impressive for quite an inexpensive eye shadow set.
Complete with a little eye shadow brush and large mirror, this compact is perfect for on - the - go and travelling, I just love the colours as they are so wearable for any occasion and blend so easily.

You can purchase this or anything else from Avon on the lovely Rickies Avon Page here, or speak to her directly on Twitter here.

An Introduction to Ponds Institute Skin Care

Pond Institute has been around since the 1840's, when the first Pond's Store opened in New York. Pond's Institiute is one of the first skin care brands to use hazel extract in their skin cream products, which has amazing soothing and reparative benefits. Their skin care products were loved and used by women all over the World - which shows their products are of a fantastic quality as they are still used and loved today!

I have previously used the Ponds Institute  Cold Cream* - it is a fantastic multi-use product. It can be used as a nourishing face mask, an eye make-up remover and also, of-course a gentle cleanser. I love using it as a cleanser as it is really refreshing and feels great on the skin. I have been trying it out as a face mask and eye - make up remover too, and it does a grand job with both of those! It helps to remove heavy eye - make up softly and it is a really gentle cream so doesn't sting the skin and leaves it feeling as fresh as a daisy.

The Ponds Institute Eye Contour Cream* was a new product for me. I was excited to start using this as my under eyes really did need a good pampering and I hate my large dark circles. I apply just a small amount every Morning and Night to my under eyes, and this Contour Cream helps to reduce puffiness and calms and nourishes the skin. I must admit, in the very warm Days we have been having in the UK recently, the eye contour cream has been my go - to product as I also suffer from hay fever - my eyes constantly sting and water in the Warmer Months so this product has been a really good product for me.

The Cold Cream and the Eye Contour Cream are both part of the essentials collection, which are available to buy from Boots, Superdrug, Tesco, Sainsbury's and  TheHealthCounter.com.

My Favourite Blogs To Read

Before I began writing my own blog, I was an avid reader of a lot other peoples blogs. Today I thought I would compile a little list of my all time favourite blog reads. Maybe you will find some new reading here! Please feel free to share your favourite blog reads in the comments so we can share the love!

Laura's All Made Up

I have been reading Laura's Blog for absolutely ages now, and it is still a firm favourite of mine. Her reviews are honest and her photography is so pretty. I love the way she writes; her blog layout is absolutely adorable and she loves a good beauty bargain (like me!) so i always find her blog posts relatable. Her blog is a really good read so if you fancy a nosey, here is the link!

Lucyy Writes

Lucy's blog is another I have been reading for quite some time now - she writes real and honest blog posts - a personal favourite is her blog posts about contraception and the implant. It is refreshing to see blog posts which are factual, honest, inspiring and helpful addressing topics like this, which I don't feel are spoke about very much in real life. As well as blogging beauty, fashion, home-ware and lifestyle too, her blog is a good one - and if you love Lush, Lucy's blog is the place to go!

A'kin Very Gentle Unscented Body Wash

About A'kin

Akin is a brand which are ingredient - rich, vegan and use certified organic ingredients, and ensure their products are made without animal testing and animal ingredients. Their products are made from fine natural ingredients so that the products only include ingredients which are pure and skin friendly. My Pure have sold A'kin products since 2004, and they have quickly become a very popular brand.

Very Gentle Unscented Body Wash

The body wash has a consistency of gel once you first use it, but lathers up really well when washing. A little definitely goes a long way as the product itself does last a long time. At a huge 500 ml bottle, this will definitely last you a while! This 500 ml bottle costing just £14 *currently £11.90 at My Pure for a limited time only - link here* - it is very reasonably priced.
Of course as this body wash is unscented so for once, there is no scent I can comment on! This doesn't stop this body wash being a fantastic product though, as it is gentle and helps to moisturise and soften my skin. I think a body wash like this one is good to use sometimes as I know I love my scented products, but when my skin is feeling irritated I just want to use a product that is unscented and something that wont continue to irritate my skin. The A'kin Unscented Body Wash is a firm favourite for many people that have sensitive skin, including myself. A member of my family suffers from eczema and has found this to be a great product which doesn't feed the eczema and cause further irritation, so that is another plus from us!

I would recommend this if you love a good pamper but have sensitive skin. You can purchase this lovely body wash at My Pure here.

Living Nature Skin Care Minis for Oily and Combination Skin

Living Nature* is a brand which I have featured quite frequently on my blog in recent Months. I love their eco-friendly ethic, as well as falling in love with their great quality products of-course.

I was intrigued to try out their new Skin Mini's - which include a Cleanser, Toner and Lotion for all of your skin care needs. The packaging is really cute and simple - I love the box the products are housed in. I stay quite simple with what I know works for me by using a cleanser, toner and moisturiser in my daily routine, so this little mini kit is ideal for me. Each bottle containing 30ml of product, these mini's are perfect for traveling, Holidays and even trialing out the products to see what they are like! Coming in at RRP £19.50 for the kit, I think the Skin Mini's are really reasonably priced if you want to try out a completely new skin regime. The Mini's last between 4-6 if used on a daily basis, which is quite a long time for the size of the products. These little kits are available for three different skin types; Dry and Mature Skin, Normal Skin, and Oily and Combination Skin, which is the set I am featuring today. Lets face it - if you are looking to buy skin care products for your specific skin type - it can get a little confusing on what is best for you - this handy set is already catered for you and your skin type.

Now, onto what I thought of the products. I have enjoyed using this Oily and Combination Skin set - before I used an array of different products from a variety of different brands so it was quite refreshing to use all three products that work well together. The Purifying Cleanser is quite a light cleanser which foams really well. It has helped to remove make - up and excess oil from the face, it feels very fresh and leaves my skin feeling awake. The Hydrating Toning Gel is really soothing and gentle on the skin, after using this my skin feels very refreshed and bright. My favourite of all three, the Balancing Day Lotion provides my skin with a fresh face after I have applied it. It makes my skin feel soft and really moisturised, as well as feeling really hydrated. I really enjoy using these three products together, as I feel my skin has become more moisturised, refreshed and restored.

You can purchase The Living Nature Skin Mini's from The Botanical Brands website here.

Review: Priti NYC Shirley Temple Peony Nail Polish

Are you looking for a sheer nail polish which is perfect for work? Look no further!

Priti NYC products are completely vegan, non-toxic and are free of carcinogenic ingredients.
The shade of this Priti NYC nail polish is Shirley Temple, which is a very pale peachy nude. It is quite a sheer nail polish so adds just a touch of colour.
I think this colour is perfect for work, as it is so simple and looks very professional and neat. I don't often wear bold colours on my nails so this polish is perfect for me.

It takes 3 - 4 coats of Shirley Temple to make the colour more opaque, which is great as the colour is buildable if you only need a sheer colour on the nails, or want more of a bold colour. The sheer shade is perfect for work or a manicure.
The brush is of a good size and it is very easy to apply onto the nails. I think this shade would also make a great toe nail colour too!

The fantastic thing about this nail polish is that it is free from toluene, dibutyl phthalate, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, and camphor, and it is also suitable for vegans.
This gorgeous nail polish is available to buy here* from www.lucyrose.biz.

Recent Empties

I think this Months empties post should be renamed the gift set empties post as I have used up a load of beauty products I received in Christmas gift sets etc.

Soap and Glory The Righteous Butter x3 (!): That's right, I have finished off three tubs of Soap and Glory's infamous body butter this Month. It has taken me absolutely ages to finish using the huge tub, and the little tubs have been sat in my vanity for ages with barely any product left inside, so decided to finish them all off! I do love this body butter as it is my go-to product if I want smooth and soft skin. I think I will stay away from the S&G section in Boots for a while though!

Tesco Indulgent Conditioner in Coconut: Just a basic conditioner here for every day really, it smells really nice but it isn't a brilliant conditioner and I wouldn't write home about it but we've finally finished it all off. I probably wouldn't rush out to get it again.

Lipsy Body Scrub: This is just a random body scrub that we had in our bathroom, it was quite a nice scent and it was a decent body scrub, not much all to say about it really.

Sanctuary Body Lotion x2: More body lotions! These are lovely body lotions but we have far too many of them. it looks like one of them still has product left, which it does but it is stuck and I am just not that bothered about cutting it open to rescue it.

Gorgeous By Gok Shower Scrub: This product is absolutely gorgeous. I love Gok and absolutely love when Boots sold his Christmas gift sets. I would definitely buy this again but I am unsure if they are available to buy any more.

Cussons Imperial Leather Soft Touch Moisturising Shower Cream with Jojoba Milk & Vitamin E: I have finished off another bottle of this beautiful shower cream this Month. It is becoming the 'norm' now for me to pick this up when I go grocery shopping as we both love the scent and it generally is a really good body wash.

Hask Argan Oil Intense Deep Conditioning Hair Treatment: This was a little treat for my hair mid week last week. It was a nice conditioning treatment which made my hair quite soft  I did like it but prefer Hask's Oil Treatments rather than this conditioning treatment.

Soap and Glory Heel Genius: I have finally used this up. It smells really fresh but I don't think it is a great foot cream to be honest! I have a few tubes of this and they always come in the big gift sets at Christmas but they are something I could live without.

Inika Angle Brush - The Perfect Angled Eye Brush!

Firstly, apologies for the photography in todays post - it is actually quite difficult to photograph a single make - up brush with the camera I am currently using, so my photo's aren't of such a good quality as I would like them to be, but please bear with me until I soon upgrade to a better camera. I am sure you can still see the fantastic quality of the Inika Angle Brush from the photographs! You can also check out their stock photos at My Pure here.

About the Inika Angle Brush

Inika is a brand I am quite familiar with, being a natural and organic brand which doesn't cause any irritation to the skin, I really wanted to try out one of their products as I often get irritated skin. I had been hearing a lot about them through beauty reviews, so I knew when browsing My Pure's website I really wanted to try one of their make up brushes. This brush certainly does not disappoint. I opted for the Angle Brush - a multi-use brush perfect for applying eye-shadow, eye-liner and of-course, a perfect tool for filling in brows.

I have used the brush for filling in my eyebrows. It is a great tool for this, especially if you like a bold brow as it is quite a large brush which helps to create great shape. I have also used it to apply eyeliner to my lash line, by wetting the brush and using different coloured eye-shadows to create new eye liner shades. The brush is easy to use and I find it easy to apply product onto the brush. I would definitely recommend this brush for eye shadow or eye liner.

The brush feels really soft and hasn't shed which is a plus from me! As Inika is quite a well - known and slightly more expensive brand, I expected good things from this make up brush and it really does show in this case that it is well worth the money as the quality of the brush is fantastic.

More Information

The Inika Angle Brush is made from 100% man made materials and wood from sustainable forestry. You can purchase the Inika Angle brush at My Pure here. My Pure is a fantastic website if you are looking for natural and organic brands like Inika, they give greast customer service and their delivery is really quick. Their products arrive well packaged and I can't fault the service with My Pure!

Prices Scented Jar Candle in Cinnamon Sticks

Are you a lover of scented candles? Have you tried any Prices candles before?

I have only tried one other Prices Candle which was a good while back now and I can't remember which scent it was for sure, but I think it was a Green Tea scent and it smelt really nice. The scented candle I am featuring in my blog post today is Prices Scented Jar Candle in Cinnamon Sticks, which is available to buy from the Scented Candle Shop website for just £4.75*.

As you can see, the candle is homed in a glass jar, which I love. I love burning candles in glass jars as it is a lot cleaner and looks that little bit more presentable in the home. With a burn time of around 30 hours, this candle is great value as it lasts a long time.
The scent is completely delicious! While burning, this fills the room with a gorgeous cinnamon aroma, making it feel very cosy and warm.Personally I do not think the scent smells synthetic or fake. I love the scent of the candle as it lasts in the room - something I usually find doesn't really work with a lot of other candles.
This burns really equally and although I haven't completed finished it yet (although I have used it a lot there isn't much left to go now!), I don't think there will be too much wastage either.

I am pretty impressed with this candle, I definitely will be investing in some more!

This candle is available to buy here from The Scented Candle Shop.

Di Palomo Eau De Parfum in Tuscan Rose

Di Palomo is a brand which originated in July 2003 by three friends who wanted to create a collection of body, bath and fragrance products to capture their memories of Italy. Inspired by Italy and made in the UK, Di Palomo is well - loved for their range of bath and body care, fragrances and home scents in four beautiful scents - Wild Fig and Grape, Tuscan Rose, Orange Blossom with Wild Honey and Olive, and White Grape with Aloe

Their new Eau De Parfum range is very exciting, as they have a beautiful selection of their four different scents, including this stunning fragrance in Tuscan Rose*. I am a huge fan of any rose fragrance as I love the feminine and fresh scent of rose, so I was very excited to try this Eau De Parfum.

First off, I absolutely adore the packaging and presentation. I love that the perfume bottle arrives in a beautiful box - making it a perfect gift. I love the simplicity and elegance of the bottle, it looks pretty on any dressing table. I really am a sucker for packaging and Di Palomo really do perfect it.

Now onto the fragrance itself! The scent smells of sweet, fresh roses - if you are a fan of floral scents you will love this. Top notes include White Tea & Mandarin, along with middle notes of Tuscan Rose, Jasmine & Gardenia, and the base notes of Vetiver, Sandalwood & Vanilla. The scent was inspired by "climbing roses in a Tuscan courtyard" - the scent is delicate and soft, and not too - overpowering. The lasting power is fantastic with this fragrance, as it lasts well for a fair few hours still being able to smell it on yourself.

I absolutely adore this scent and haven't been wearing any other fragrance since I began using it! I find it perfect for both the day and night, and think it would make the most perfect fragrance for a Summer Holiday. Costing only £25 per 50ml bottle, I think Tuscan Rose is great value for money as it lasts well throughout the day and smells just beautiful.

If you haven't tried Di Palomo before, you can have a look on their website here to browse their entire range of products. From body butter to candles, there really is something for everyone. They also stock their products on Feel Unique and John Lewis.

Stunning Homeware from Melody Maison

Are you a fan of stunning home furnishings and accessories? Melody Maison* is the place to go if you love all home things shabby chic and French inspired.
Melody Maison is an established family run business which was established in 2004, and they have grown as a brand ever since. Well - known for their beautiful home furnishings and decorative accessories, Melody Maison are a fantastic go-to online store to pick up all the beautiful home ware you could ever dream of. Being a huge lover of white decor and simple yet beautiful accessories, I am really excited to share with you a collection of Melody Maison products.

Firstly, I absolutely love this Two Tier Cake Stand Jewellery Display. It is made out of metal and is sturdy and strong, and really easy to fit together as it arrives in just three parts. A beautiful decorative piece, and also makes great storage. It is perfect for storing my favourite jewelley pieces and would also look great used as a traditional cake stand to showcase your latest cupcake creations! It can be used to showcase many other smaller items, such as nail polish or cosmetics. This looks beautiful on my dressing table, I can't help but keep glancing at it.

The Floral Wooden 'Love' Blocks are so shabby chic and adorable. I have dotted them about on my bedside table and I think they look really lovely. I love that the 'L' and 'V' blocks are slightly taller than the others. The floral and spotted patterns on the lettering of the blocks is so pretty. The blocks are great as you can display them as you wish - flat or upright, straight, stacked - its up to you. I think these blocks would look beautiful in pretty much any room of the house.

The White 'Home Sweet Home' Jug is probably my favourite product that Melody Maison are currently selling. It is made from metal and has an image of two doves, a heart and the words 'Home Sweet Home' upon it. It has that rustic look to it and is a perfect piece to add to any window sill or shelf. I think it would be perfect to use as a vase to display a few flowers like daffodils. I really love this jug and think it would make a perfect home warming gift.

The Wooden Hanging Love Plaque  is a beautiful piece to add a touch of shabby chic to any room. I have had it hanging on the side of a mirror in my house (as seen in the image above) and also on my bed frame. I love the vintage look string which looks great hanging straight, as well as slightly slanted which I think looks really sweet. I love the quote 'Love Is In The Air' and think it is a great addition to the home.

The White Wooden Post Rack is perfect for anyone that wants to add a little more organisation to their home. I don't know about you, but in our home all of our post is kept in a messy pile on the kitchen unit which gets moved/lost throughout the day! This handy little post rack is perfect for us. It is a small rack perfect for popping in any post that needs sorting, ensuring it looks neat and tidy, while still keeping your home looking shabby chic and smart.

I absolutely adore Melody Maison's website. There is so much choose from and such a variety of products. I would recommend shopping at Melody Maison as their customer service is fantastic and well - worth a mention.

What is your favourite piece from this post?

Yung Skin Face Cream and Food

I have been getting more into my skin care recently, and when contacted to see if I wanted to try some of the Yungskin* products, of-course I said yes! I had heard a little through the grapevine about the Yungskin face cream, and being very intrigued to try the Yungskin 'Food' - I was very excited to trial these products out.

Yung Skin is a brand which is based on the principles of homeopathy and acupuncture to help improve mature skin. Yung Skin products aim to "restore skins vitality, regenerate and rejuvenate skin cells, tighten skin, reduce appearance of wrinkles and blemishes, and to ensure youthful looking and glowing skin". The products utilise quantum energy science and cellular stimulation to rejuvenate the skin. It is all very scientific and technical - in simpler terms, the products have basically been infused with energies which activate the Acupuncture points and muscular commands in the skin.

Yung Skin Face Cream in Light

I decided on the face cream in light, as it is more appropriate for me as I have young skin. The rich face cream is more suited for more mature skin. I opted to use this face cream as my day cream and night cream. The cream is not too thick, heavy or greasy which is perfect for using both day and night. I have been using this for a couple of weeks now and have noticed that my blemish prone skin has calmed down a lot. My skin feels softer and slightly tighter. When I first began using the cream, it felt slightly tingly on the skin, but nothing to be concerned about - this is how it works - it is just the blood circulation. As I am in my mid - Twenties I luckily have not had any wrinkle concerns just yet, but time is ticking and I definitely want to take care of my skin the best I can. I would recommend this face cream if you are looking for a product that not only moisturises your skin, but also promotes healthier looking skin and improves the appearance of your skin. I am really impressed with all of the benefits of using this face cream.
Yung Skin also kindly sent some little sample pots to maybe pass onto a friend, which I am going to give to my Sister - I am sure she will love it just as much as I do.

Yungskin Food

The 'Food' was something I was very interested in trying out. Yung Skin state that "pH alkaline liquid which has been infused Homeopathically with the energies of various ingredients to feed and rejuvenate the skin from within.". It is suggested you use the face cream and food in combination together for best results, which is what I did.
There are minimal ingredients in the food; all including properties which help to rejuvenate the skin from within. You can read more about them here. I added 10 drops in a small glass of water both Morning and Night. Personally, I couldn't taste any change to my water, which is a great plus as it made no difference.

In conclusion, I feel my skin feels and looks healthier. My redness areas have calmed down a noticeable amount - enough that people have commented on my skin looking 'glowing'. I would repurchase this in the future. Although I am no science - whiz and don't know the ins - and - outs of how it actually works, what I know is that it does work for me and my skin. I have found it quite interesting to find out a little more about looking after my skin in preparation for when I get older.

You can view the entire Yung Skin range on their website here.

*The Yungskin product range, in the EU, will be distributed only through certified practitioners and beauty therapists - because the facelift reaction on some people can be quite dramatic and Yungskin feel there is a need for the client to be educated by the practitioner so that if a reddening of their skin does take place they know that it is normal for them and will abate within 20 minutes.

Event: Nail It! Birmingham, Urban Coffee.

Nail It!

At the weekend I headed to Birmingham to attend an event held at an independent coffee shop Urban Coffee. I was really looking forward to it, as it was all about nails. I am quite clueless and not the best with painting my nails, so I was looking forward to trying some new colours out!

On arrival, we we were given refreshments and we then took a seat to begin our nail styling! We used Avon's New Gel Finish Nail Polishes and their other Nail Polishes - I absolutely love the lilac shade - there was a huge selection of lovely colours to choose from. We also tried out the Magnetic Nail Polish and the Magnetic Wands - very impressive. other items we tried out were the Avon Nail Gems, Nail Enamel Corrector Pen, Gem Applicator, and lots more! We also had a look at some of the Avon Perfumes, Mascaras and Eye Shadows as well as having a good browse of the Avon brochure.

A big thank you to Rickie for arranging the entire event. I think it was a huge success and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there, it was a lot of fun.

Yankee Candle Scented Glass Tumbler in Fluffy Towels

I am a huge fan of candles, and if you have read my blog for a while, you will know I am a big fan of Yankee candles. I have found that I prefer the smaller candles they stock, like the tumblers or small jars. Today I am featuring one of their glass tumblers in the scent 'fluffy towels'.

If you are a fan of subtle, but beautiful scents, then Fluffy Towels is for you. It smells like fresh linen, and it really is a lovely scent. I have burnt this in my bedroom and it really does make the room feel peaceful and tranquil. I imagine it would be a great candle for pretty much every room in the house, as it is really relaxing and a very versatile scent which would be great for the kitchen, lounge, or bathroom, too. I love the fact that the candle doesn't smell synthetic or fake, the scent smells lovely. The scent is strong enough to notice the smell, but isn't too over powering - a perfect - medium. Once entering the room the candle is burning in, it smells so fresh and clean. I really love the scent of this candle - it is definitely a new favourite of mine.

Yankee's Fluffy Towels burns almost perfectly, which is what I find with a lot of Yankee Candles Scented Glass Tumblers. The candle burns very equal, and there isn't a lot of waste once it has burned through. I really do think the Yankee Tumblers are good value for money, as this costs only £8.99 from The Scented Candle Shop and burns for upto 45 hours.

If you are a candle lover like me, I would recommend having a browse on the Scented Candle Shop website. They have a huge range of candles and accessories and they stock a lot of my favourite candle brands, too!
