Festival Makeup Ready

Festival season has already begun, and there still some great festivals coming up with some fantastic line ups... I love music so festivals have always been something that excites me!
Whether you are camping it up, or just coming down for the day (and staying in a nice, warm hotel...) a natural makeup look is perfect for a festival. We all know Natural Collection; available online or in-store at Boots, is affordable and good quality, and is perfect for a natural and pretty beauty look. With all their products costing only £1.99, it is ideal for any budget.
A pretty nail colour like this one from Natural Collection; which is the Nail Colour in Hibiscus is a perfect bright pink would look great for a festival I think, nice and bright and colourful!
You want to keep makeup nice and simple if you are camping out I imagine, so a cover up stick would be ideal for me to just hide those naughty blemishes and a waterproof mascara (cause we all know Britain is known for its rain...) so it will stay in place all day! Lastly, a pretty tinted lip balm like this one in Caribbean Crush is perfect to add a pop of colour while still keeping your lips soft and hydrated is ideal to pop in your rucksack.

What is your go - to festival makeup look?

Lip Liner Love

I have never really been a huge wearer of lip liner up until the last Year or so. I love a bold lip but am often too shy to try anything too bright or bold, so usually opt for a nude or pink lip. I was sent two lip liners from online store Mypure; a website which specialises in beauty, skin care and more made from natural and organic ingredients. If you have sensitive skin like I have, I would definitely recommend Mypure, as the products they stock do not contain any nasty chemicals and I have found every item I have tried from Mypure to be really gentle and not irritate my skin at all.

The first lip liner is the Living Nature Lip Liner in Laughter. The first thing I want to mention is this is incredibly soft when applying to the lips; there is nothing I dislike more than scratchy lip liners that are harsh and drag on the skin, so I would definitely recommend them if that is an annoyance of yours too! Second, the colour is a soft, rose pink and lasts a good few hours on the lips.

The second lip liner is the Inika Lip Liner in Sugar Plum. I absolutely love this colour and goes well with a lot of nude and pink lipsticks. The staying power for this product is really good, and doesn't bleed or wear off all that much throughout the day.

Both lip liners are available to purchase online at Mypure. Don't forget to follow Mypure on their social network platforms which are linked below, to keep up-to-date of all their offers!

The Perfect Party Shoes: Butterfly Twists

Most of us have been there... having a great time, dancing the night away... but your feet are so sore from the shoes you are wearing for your night out... what do you need? A comfortable, flat pair of shoes which fit in your handbag. I think I have found the answer to this problem.

Butterfly Twists are a footwear brand which have grown since 2009; specializing in ballet pump shoes which are comfortable and fashionable, which fold and fit into your handbag; making them the perfect addition to your clutch bag on a night out, and often, saving your poor, sore feet! The ballet pumps come in a huge range of different styles and colours, so there really is something for everyone.
The pair of pumps I opted for were the Gabriella ballet pumps in gold/black python . I love the colour and design, I think they would go perfectly with a lot of my outifts and not to mention they are incredibly comfortable too. The pumps come with a handy little drawstring bag to keep them safe in your bag. I have put them to the test too - and they feel like heaven on the feet after a night of dancing in high heels, believe me!

Skin Care Discovery: Lotil Cream

Lotil Orginal Cream has been a product I have seen in the shops for the longest time; yet I have never picked it up. I knew it was one of those cult beauty firm favourites, and recently learnt that the cream has been around for one hundred years, with the formula never changing. My skin is usually classed as a combination skin type rather than more dry or more oily, but as of late it has become a lot more dry and irritated. I know that Lotil is said to be brilliant for dry skin and eczema, so I was hoping it would do great things for my skin.

I have been using this cream as a day and night cream (sinking into my skin after my morning skin care routine, and applying a thicker layer before bed at night time) and it seems to have really helped to combat the dry, patchy areas of my face. My skin does feel softer and I am definitely going to continue using this product in my skin care routine. It is super affordable too, I only wish I had tried it sooner.
Available to buy at Boots for £3.59.

Products I Always Go Back To

I featured this very product on my blog way back in 2012 (!) and have since repurchased it a few times. It is brilliant value for money, and the shadows last on the eyelids for a good few hours. I love the selection of natural shades, making it the perfect go-to palette for almost any occasion.

Lush Twilight Bath Bomb, £3.75
Twilight has been my favourite Lush bath bomb for a good while. No wait, of all time. This turns the bath water a beautiful shade of purple, and the scent of lavender helps me to relax and settle to sleep after a pampering bath. It is something I always go back and repurchase as I know its such a good product, I cant help myself.

Soap and Glory Clean, Girls Body Wash, £6.50 for 500ml
For me, Soap and Glory are one of those stand-out brands which I am always adding to my shopping basket. Their Clean, Girls Body Wash has been a firm favourite of mine for absolutely ages - I'm talking Years. I love the scent, Mist You Madly, so this body wash is just perfect and also leaves my skin feeling and smelling super gorgeous.

What products are you always going back to?

New In: Sleek Enchanted Forest Eyeshadow Palette

A brand I have always been a fan of is Sleek, particularly their super affordable eye shadow palettes. I am always interested in having a peak when they add a new palette to their collection, so when I heard a little about their new Enchanted Forest palette, I was eager to see what the colour selection would be.

Sleek did not disappoint - with a selection of pinks, greens, blues and browns, the palette is perfect for Autumn and Winter and can create a beautiful smokey eye with those creamy greens and browns. There are some shimmers and some matte shades, so there is something to please everyone in this palette.
I would say that the majority of the shadows are really pigmented, soft and easy to apply, apart from one or two of the lighter shades; which are not quite as pigmented as the others, but still of a really good quality.

June Degustabox Review: BBQ Box

Every Month a delivery is sent to me by the lovely folk at Degustabox to feature on my blog. I always look forward to this subscription box the most as it includes one of my favourite things - food! You can use my discount code BLDEG15 to receive an incredible £7 off your next order with Degustabox.
This Months box has been such a great theme too, as we recently purchased a new barbeque so lots of these foodie items have really come in handy.

The Zeo Cloudy Lemon drink is something I have tried before and loved, so I was super pleased to see it again as it is very refreshing and perfect to sip when you are chilling out in the garden. The Branston Spicy Tomato Relish tastes AMAZING on a burger and is something I am definitely adding to the shopping list. Other fab items include the Haywards Silverskins which have been fab added to salads, the Schwartz Handmade Burger Mix which is so easy to make and really flavour-some too. Probably my favourte item of the box is the Bakedin miracle mug brownie which is absolutely delicious. Other tasty treats in this Months box included Heinz Amoy Coconut Milk, Sacla Pesto Pots (these are super handy!), Miracle Noodles, Smooze Fruit Ices, Destrooper-Oliver Belgian Butters (they are delicious with a cuppa!) and Butterkist Yoghurt Coated Popcorn; which I have to say, is probably the nicest popcorn I have ever tried! The alcoholic option of this Months box was a can of Marstons lager - I haven't tried this but I am sure the man of the house will soon. I am super impressed with this box. What do you think?
