Get That Natural Glow with Natural Collection

When I first started getting into make-up, I would head to Boots and pick out some lipsticks, blushers and mascara and would be overjoyed playing with different colours and trying out different looks. Not much has changed since then; I still spend a lot of my time scanning the beauty stands in Boots looking for that perfect bronzer or the eyeliner of my dreams. A brand which has always stuck out to me is Natural Collection They are incredibly affordable and their products are good quality and great value for the money.

With the Summer ahead of us, I am hoping to achieve that natural and radiant glow with Natural Collection. With their products costing only £1.99 each, these are perfect for an every day work look, on holiday or even a night out.

Base - Use a tinted moisturiser in place of your foundation to give a more natural look, and a good setting powder like this one is perfect to apply to keep your make-up looking flawless whatever the weather. This tinted moisturiser gives a great finish without looking cakey and the pressed powder is one I have used many times before.
Bronze - Create a healthy summer glow by using this super affordable bronzer - you can even contour with this.
Blush - Apply a dash of blush to the apples of your cheeks, I can't recommend Natural Collection's blushers enough! I love a girly pink blusher, for me a blush completes my make-up, this one is perfect for the holiday season.

I absolutely adore the Natural Collection base products, have you ever tried them?

In The Buff Makeup Blusher in The Pool Boy

IN THE BUFF MINERAL MAKE UP BLUSH

In The Buff Makeup was founded and created by Becky Laroc back in 2009. Initially a company which specialized in eyelash extensions; they have come on leaps and bounds and now stock a wide variety of cosmetics. In The Buff Make up is 100% natural and is made from only minerals. All of their cosmetics are completely free from artificial colours, presevatives, talc, oil and fragrances.

They have a wide variety of lovely looking mineral products. Today i wanted to share my thoughts on one of their blushers, 'The Pool Boy'. Pool boy is a gorgeous pop of pink. I find it a great colour for both day and night time, and perfect for work as it is subtle but also adds a gorgeous pop of pink to the cheeks. I really like my pink blushes, as I find them quite natural on my pale skin. I love this colour, I think it would suit any skin tone. It is a perfect dusky pink for any time, any occasion. This is quite subtle but is easy to build on to make it more of a flush of colour.

The mineral blush* seems a good quality product. Of-course, mineral make up can be messy, but this blush is gorgeous and lasts all day. It feels soft and is really easy to blend. I have really enjoyed using this blusher in place of my every day blush. I think it is a good value product as you need only the smallest amount of product.

Head over to the In The Buff Makeup Website to see all of their other products. Don't forget to check out their Twitter and Facebook Pages too!

Top Beauty Picks For Spring! #BloggersDoItBetter

Top Beauty Picks For Spring

Hi everyone, today is the very first #BloggersDoItBetter Challenge! We were asked to write about something Spring inspired, I must admit I did struggle with this challenge a little. I wasn't sure at all how I could include Spring into one of my blog posts. After a little thinking I decided on a 'Top beauty picks for Spring' post! This isn't something I would normally write about as it is a little out of my comfort zone; I usually just write reviews and favourite product posts but I thought I would just go for it! So here you have it, this is my interpretation of Spring for the first challenge topic. I hope you enjoy it!

I'm not usually the type of person to 'only wear a certain shade in particular Seasons' but I did a little research of what is in fashion this Spring, and have been loving the pastels and neon shades: they're everywhere!
I love a pink lip, and think this MUA lipstick in shade 12 is perfect for the Spring Months. It is a nice vibrant pop of colour that brightens up any outfit. I searched through my perfumes but couldn't find a 'perfect' scent for Spruing. I have picked this Impulse Body Spray in Be Surprised. It has notes of violets and red fruits so smells beautiful and fresh for Spring. I couldn't decide on the perfect nail colour so I picked two! One is Models Own Pukka Purple. It is a lilac toned purple, although it does look a deep purple on the photograph. I love this colour but find it difficult to wear but it looks great for this time of year. I love Models Own nail varnishes as they have a lovely finish. I also selected Essie's Beach Bum Blu. I know both neons and pastels are popular, although i do think this polish would look great any time of the year. It is metallic - look aquamarine colour which reminds me of mermaids. I tihnk this colour would be perfect on the toes when wearing Jelly Shoes or a Peep Toe shoe! My last top pick for Spring has to be a blush. i am obsessed with blushers, and have opted for Loreal' Le Blush in 115 True Rose. It is a soft, dusky pink that adds that subtle rush of colour to your cheeks.
What are your top beauty picks for Spring?

Thanks so much for reading, it was fun picking products to feature for this post and I really enjoyed writing about something different on my blog.

What are your thoughts on my take on the Spring topic?

March Favourites

March 2014 Beauty Favourites

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette
One of the products I have been completely loving in March is The Naked 3 palette from Urban Decay. I was actually super lucky and won it from a giveaway back in February by the lovely Daniella (thanks so much!) and I can completely understand the hype about it. It is super pigmented, the colour range is beautiful and I have loved experimenting with more rosier toned shades rather than my normal neutral eyes.

Jelly Pong Pong Duo Bronzer in Caribbean Sun
I am a big fan of blush, but find it super difficult to find bronzing products which look natural on my very pale skin. Although this blush and bronzer duo is probably aimed for the warmer Months, I really love the bronzer as it looks so natural and not muddy on my skin. The blush is also a very lovely flush of pink too.

Soap and Glory You Wont Believe Your Eyes Serum
I suffer with dark and heavy under eye circles, and no concealer can hide them. I have actually had this for well over a year now but forgot about it in my stash and rediscovered it a few weeks back. I look a lot more awake in a Morning after I have applied this the night before. I love the cooling sensation from the roller ball applicator too!

Balance Me Radiance Face Oil
This is the first facial oil I have ever used and I am so glad I have finally jumped onto the bandwagon! I love that it is a rollerball applicator which makes it super easy and non-messy to use. My skin feels so much different since bringing this into my skin routine, its definitely become a firm favourite of mine.

Living Nature Blush In Cool Winter

Living Nature Blush In Cool Winter*

Today I am writing about a lovely blusher from Living Nature. The shade I have is 'Cool Winter', which is a quite peachy toned light brown. The blush looks very natural and healthy when applied to the skin. It gives a little flush of colour to the cheeks. There is also another shade available in 'Warm Summer'. The blush is suitable for vegans and vegetarians; is a certified natural organic product, and has not been tested on animals.

Packaging, Price and Information

The packaging of the blush is sleek and is cased in a black compact. There is also a rope wrapped around the compact which ensures the product doesn't open. The compact arrived in a cardboard box, which I always like so that my products are kept tidy. Inside the compact houses the blush and also a small, sturdy blush brush. The RRP of the blush is £22, and is currently reduced at MyPure for £19.80. The blush contains 4g/0.14oz of product. The ingredients include: Talc, Mica, Squalane, Zea Mays Starch, Titanium Dioxide, Magnesium Stearate, Iron Oxides, Hydrated Silica, Manganese Violet, Iron Oxides, Sorbic Acid and Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil.

What I Thought

I really like this blush. The colour is perfect for my pale skin. I have used a few blushers which have caused irritation to my skin due to particular ingredients inside them, but this Living Nature blush has caused me no skin irritations or problems at all. I love that it is a natural and synthetic product as I know it is good for my skin. The blush is pigmented and suits my very pale skin, which is something I struggle with when using blush. The product is long - lasting and has now become a product I reach for on a daily basis. 'Cool Winter' is a buildable colour that blends really easily.

Living Nature Products and Other Natural and Organic Products

The brand 'Living Nature' is a natural cosmetic brand which use 100% of natural ingredients, preservatives and fragrances. I found this gorgeous blush, along with many other natural and organic beauty products at MyPure. Mypure is a fantastic online website that stock body care, skin care, fragrance, hair and cosmetic products that have only the most natural and organic ingredients; which ensures the products we use on our bodies are less likely to cause any problems for our skin. Their delivery is very fast and the products arrive very well packaged.
