Wonderful Things #2
Hello everyone, I am back Today with a second installment of my blog series; Wonderful Things, where I will be sharing some things I think are wonderful that you might like to know about. I love reading 'round-up' blog posts like this, I find it so interesting to see what people have been up-to and what they have been enjoying doing. Here are just a few little things I have been enjoying recently.
Sweet Scented Shower Creams
I am a huge fan of Imperial Leather bath and shower products, so when I saw that they had created a Sweets line in their shower creams I knew I wanted to try them out. Marshmallow smells soft and comforting, Spearmint is refreshing and minty and Sherbet Lemon is my favourite as it smells zesty and fresh. They lather so well and are really good value for money. I have tried all of them now other than Fruit Salad which I haven't managed to hunt down yet.
Cosy Nights In
There isn't much that I enjoy more than having a night in with a book, a listen of my iPod, or an hour or so binging on Netflix; accompanied with a cup of tea and my warm and cosy gear. I have been loving these Lounge Socks* from Heat Holders so much recently, they are super soft and warm. They have a turn over top and a non- slip grip on the bottom, so they are perfect for lounging around the house in while still keeping your feet super cosy. They look so cute too! My current read is How To Stay Alive by Matt Haig, it is proving to be a really interesting and helpful book.
Hot Chocolate
I love a good hot chocolate, and have been truly indulging in my favourite hot chocolate, Maltesers Malt drink. It tastes delicious - even better with added marshmallows!

Cheryl Storm Flower Fragrances
Cheryl Storm Flower EDT & Cheryl Storm Flower Noir EDP |
It is no secret I have quite the girl crush on Cheryl. I know her music and fashion isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I personally really like her and I am a bit of a cliche and tend to buy into most things she puts her name on. I must admit I am a big fan of trying out celebrity fragrances; they're usually very reasonably priced, and I really like wearing light and airy scents in the Day time. Ofcourse I just had to buy Cheryl's perfume once I knew about it - I tested it before I bought it and I actually really loved the scent.
I fell in love with the Cheryl Storm Flower scent - it is such a lovely fragrance. The top notes of the fragrance are mandarin and nectarin; making the fragrance very light, sweet and fruity. The other notes are White Grape, Freesia, Muguet, Peach Blossom, White Musk, Sandal Wood, and Vanilla. I just love the fruity, yet slightly floral scent this perfume has - it is a very girly and sweet scent. I loved the EDP and decided to try out the EDT version of the fragrance too. This scent is perfect for day-time wear and for work - it still smells very sweet and feminine, but is light and subtle enough for any time of the Day. The lasting power of the fragrance is good, lasting around four to five hours.
Once I heard that there would be another scent joining the fragrance family, I went ahead and bought the Storm Flower Noir EDP. Noir is a much deeper and richer scent, and is more for evening wear I would say, although you could probably still wear it in the Day. Top notes in Noir are Rhubarb, Mandarin and pear; with other notes including Rose Petals, Orange Flower, Tuberose, Heliotrope, Sandlewood, Ambret Seeds, Brown Sugar, and Captive Musks. I do really like Noir, but do prefer the original Storm Flower scent.

New In: Benecos Makeup Brushes
I am always on the hunt for new makeup brushes. They are probably one of my favourite beauty items to buy! I just think that if you have great tools to apply your makeup with, it can make a whole difference to the way your makeup appears. I recently picked out a few makeup brushes from Benecos; a natural beauty brand, to put to the test.
The Benecos Powder Brush (RRP £9.95) is perfect for applying setting powder, as well as doubling - up as a fairly good blush brush. The bristles on the brush are super soft and fluffy, and as the brush is large, it is great for distributing powder across the face. When I use this to apply my setting powder, I feel it gives an even and flawless finish. Overall I cant really fault this brush, I think it does a great job and is worth the price tag. I have tried other powder brushes which cost much more than this one, that don't achieve the results this brush does.
The Benecos Rouge Brush (RRP £8.95) is much smaller than the powder brush in regards to the handle size. The Rouge Brush is great to use to apply highlight, bronzer and even blusher. The brush has a slanted cut of the head, which helps to give a more accurate application of bronzer or highlighter. I love this brush to apply highlighter, as it is super soft and gives a very defined application. I would definitely recommend this brush to anyone looking for a slanted powder brush, it is brilliant for the price.
My first impressions of Benecos makeup brushes are that they are very soft; they don't shed, wash well and apply my makeup really evenly and well. I am definitely going to be trying more from the range!
Both brushes are available to buy online at Mypure.

March Degustabox 2016
Another Month has whizzed past again. It really is true what they say, after 21 time just flies by!
I have another brilliant Degustabox review today. I loved the Easter, breakfast and treat theme to this box, pretty much everything has been consumed now - they didn't last long! So I feel I can give good feedback of my thoughts of the products included in the box. You can use my discount code BLDEG15 to receive a rather generous £6 off your next order - you're welcome! All links are listed below.
First up, the Brioche Pasquier Pains au Chocolat were delicious, we are big fans of the Brioche Pasquier brand in our house so they didn't last too long. The Weetabix on the Go Breakfast Drinks are great for a quick breakfast and contains the fibre and energy that the Weetabix cereal contains, so it is perfect if you are in a rush like I usually am on a Morning! The Good Hemp Coconut Alternative Milk is another good addition to the box, admittedly this one hasn't been used just yet, but will be good to try an alternative to milk. The Kent's Kitchen Stuffing just looks like a great idea - so convenient, easy and quick to make!
Metcalfes Cinema Sweet Popcorn was absolutely delcious and even better knowing that it contains 67% less sugar than other sweet popcorn! I would definitely recommend this popcorn if you are looking for a sweet treat without the guilt! Chewits Chewy Sweets are a retro throwback for us all - they have been around for 50 years and they still are our favourite chewy sweet! I was really intrigued to see the Parle Hide & Seek Biscuits and Monaco Biscuits in the box this Month - the Hide & Seek biscuits are amazing.
Pipers Crisps in Cheddar and Onion are super tasty and great for a snack while watching a film, we loved the flavour. My Sister very quickly chomped up the Lindt White Chocolate Gold Bunny - Lindt chocolate is super sweet and it was lovely to see the little bunny included in the box. Kallo Rice Cakes in Milk Chocolate and Quinoa and Seeds were something I was excited about. I am trying to eat more healthily and these are brilliant to include in my packed lunches, and are full of flavour. Lastly, the Karyatis Meze To Go is a pepper and feta dip, great for parties or snacking - we actually tried these with the Pipers Crisps, very delicious.

Benecos Lip Liner
Hi everyone! It feels a little odd tapping away at a computer again, I had an impromptu break from blogging and I have missed writing my posts and talking to you all in the comments and on twitter a lot more than I expected. My blog has been a hobby of mine for the past four Years or so, it is definitely something I want to keep working at and improving on, so thank you for all of your continued support. Also, apologies for my awful camera skills!
Today I am sharing my thoughts on a lip liner by Benecos, in the shade brown. This lip liner is super affordable and costs only £3.95 from Mypure online. The brand Benecos make BDIH certified and natural products with beneficial ingredients. They sell a range of make - up, body, hair and skin care. If you are into your natural beauty products, the brand Benecos is one you should definitely look out for.
The lip liner is very pigmented and is easy to apply; it isn't rough on the skin and applies very smoothly. It doesn't bleed throughout the day and stays put for around 4 hours.
The lip liner is a colour I wear a lot on the lips; it is a great nude and is perfect to pair up with a nude or pink lipstick, or even to wear alone. I am a big fan of how soft and creamy the formulation this lip liner has.
I have worn this alone as a full lip product, and as a lip liner paired with lipsticks. I feel it does help my lipstick to stay in place and give a more definitive look. I think for the price, this is a really good product I would recommend. I will definitely be checking out the other shades in their collection.
Have you got a favourite lip liner?
