Soap and Glory Orangeasm Body Wash

I feel that over the past few Weeks I have mentioned Soap and Glory quite a lot on my blog... I'm sorry for the overload, but as it is quite clear, they are my favourite for bath and body care. I have tried almost everything from Soap and Glory, but something I hadn't bought yet was an item with one of their latest scents; 'Orangeasm'.
I was so intrigued to try something from this line, but I really wasn't sure if I would like the scent at all, so I bought a Body Wash set which included a travel size of their Orangeasm Body Wash to test it out.
As you can imagine, the scent is incredibly zesty, fruity and smells like oranges! It doesn't smell too synthetic and it is quite an uplifting scent. I have to be honest in the fact it isn't my favourite Soap and Glory scent; their Original Pink and Sugar Crush will always be my favourites, but this scent is lovely and perfect for someone that loves fruity fragrances. The body wash itself lathers brilliantly; I can't recommend their body washes enough. Overall I do really like the scent and I will probably be picking more from this scent to try out in the future.

Have you tried any products from this line? What do you think of them?

2015 Make Up Favourites

I haven't written a favourite's post in a while, so as we have just seen in the New Year I couldn't think of anything more fitting than writing my round up of all of my favourite beauty products from the last Year. I scuttled around the house collecting all my favourites; and I managed to choose one eye shadow product, one mascara, one base product and two lip products.

First up we have my most reached for eye shadow palette, which is the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette. I use this palette most days. I find it perfect for just an every day look but also a great palette to have as you can create so many different looks with it. The mascara I have enjoyed using the most has been the Clinique High Impact Mascara. This gives good length and thickens the lashes, without looking clumpy. I am quite fussy when it comes to mascara but this is a great every day mascara. I couldn't decide on just one lip product so I had to include two; the first being Soap and Glory's A Great Kisser Lip Balm. I'm not sure if S&G still stock this, as I haven't been able to find it, so I am guessing not. This is a really nice lip balm which gives a little shimmer to the lips, keeps them coated and smells of peaches. I use this on top of matte lipsticks to give a more glossy look. I have a back up tin of this, I am so glad as it doesn't look like I will be able to buy it again! Anyone that has known me for a while knows I have always been a big fan of Cheryl's makeup looks. I bought the L'oreal Paris Color Riche Collection Exclusive Nudes in Cheryl's Nude in hope that I could recreate her lovely nude lip; unfortunately I did not transform into Cheryl overnight (!) but this lipstick is a beautiful nude and one I have reached for the most this Year.
I tried the Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation for the first time this Year, and I really love it. After being a huge fan of Rimmels Match Perfection foundation for as long as I can remember, it is great to see they stock another good foundation which is a good match for my skin tone and gives a good medium coverage.

What are you favourite beauty products from 2015? Any recommendations to share?

Boxing Day Sales Haul

I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas! Today I wanted to share the few items I picked up in the Boxing Day sales. We don't have plans for Boxing Day in our family so me and my Sister decided we would wake up early and pop to the shops to see if we could pick up some bargains.

I am a huge Soap and Glory fan (if you hadn't already noticed!) so my first stop was Boots with the main aim to pick up a few of the half price gift sets. I managed to get three out of the four sets that I wanted, which were the Once Upon A Lime gift set, the Zest A Girl Can Get gift set, and finally the Soaprise cracker gift set. I know this is a lot of Soap and Glory, but they are my favourite brand and I have saved so much buying them at half price!

From Superdrug I picked up this Baylis & Harding set for only 99p - what a bargain! I love a pamper so I tend to stock up on bath and body products during the Christmas sales. I also purchased the Cheryl Cole perfume set online for just £10, so impressed with the price.

Finally, I bought a few DVDs and a CD I have been wanting for a while, they weren't in sale but I thought I would include them anyway. I love This Is England!

I also made an order online with Lush... I will share what I bought in their sale in another post soon!
What did you manage to buy in the sales this Year?

Soap and Glory The Whole She - Bang

I have picked up the 'big star gift' Soap and Glory set again this Year, and what a treat it is! I am such a fan of the brand and can not resist this amazing deal; £70 worth of products, retails at £60... and is just £30 at Boots during it's Week as the star gift.

I think I have taken advantage of Soap and Glory's star gift every Year apart from last Year, sometimes I ask for it for Christmas and other times I pick it up myself.
The Whole She - Bang includes 9 full sized products; Peaches & Clean, Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Gloss, Thick & Fast Mascara, The Righteous Butter Body Butter, Clean On Me Shower Gel, The Scrub Of Your Life, Heel Genius, The Righteous Butter Tinted Body Lotion and Hand Food Hand Cream. I love that this set always includes great products that I know I will get a lot of use out of.

Have you grabbed yourself any beauty bargains recently?

Soap and Glory #Mistletoepout

Anyone that knows me or has been reading my blog for a long time knows that my favourite body care brand is Soap and Glory. I love their products and they are that one brand that I will forever repurchase from.

The Glory Girls are Soap and Glorys top team that have been touring the country to bring all things Soap and Glory to beauty fans across the UK. When I heard The Glory Girls were heading to the Birmingham area, I knew I had to pop down and see what was going on.

The Glory Girls were offering mini make-overs, discount and free products, they were lovely too and a lot of fun. I loved my mini Soap and Glory makeover, I opted for a pink blush and nude lip with a natural eye. I loved the look that one of the girls had created, it was really simple and very me. It was great to try out some of the Soap and Glory make-up line; I have tried quite a few of their cosmetics before, and this makeover has made me want to buy more! There was also a chance to receive a free travel size body product if you shared a picture on Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #Mistletoepout... how cool is that!?
The Glory Girls were also giving out 20% discount vouchers on the day, so I went and purchased the nude lip from the makeover; Sexy Mother Pucker Matte Powder Coat in Super nude. I love it!

The girls are next in Nottingham, so if you are local, I would recommend going over and having a makeover.

Stocking Fillers | Gift Ideas

I can't quite get my head around the fact that it is just a few Weeks until Christmas! I seem to say this every Year but it does seem to come round so quick. I have shared a few items I think would make good Christmas presents for stocking fillers or items that are ideal if you are on a budget.

There is nothing better than getting cosy at Christmas, so these fairisle slippers are just perfect for lazing around the home on a chilled Winter evening. What would Christmas be without socks? I personally think socks are a good gift as everyone uses them and although it is quite a boring item, it is something anyone would appreciate.

I think sentimental gifts always go down well, so these photograph strips* from Cheerz are perfect to pop into a Christmas card. I also think Christmas is the best time of Year to have a family game night, so quizzes and card games like this Top Trumps set are perfect playtime for anyone in the family.

I have included some make up in my gift guide, probably because this is something I like to receive myself! If you know of a beauty lover or someone who is just getting into make-up, products from brands like Sunkissed, Natural Collection and Models Own are perfect because they are inexpensive and are great to try out a new look with. I've also included Benefits Roller Lash Mascara* for those huge make - up junkies in your life; I highly recommend this mascara and think it would make a brilliant little gift for those who love their luxuries. I also included the Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Hand Cleansing Gel as I think this makes a brilliant stocking filler. It has an awesome scent and everyone loves a good old hand sanitizer.

Other little items I have added to the stocking fillers are chocolate.. 'cause who doesn't love chocolate hey?! A pretty necklace and car air fresheners are also great stocking fillers or maybe even for a secret santa gift.

*post includes a PR sample & a product I have purchased with a gift voucher*

Recent Empties

It has been a while since I shared on my blog some of the products I have used up. I thought it was about time I did. What have you finished off recently?

Grace Cole Moments Body Lotion
This body lotion seemed to take a long time for me to finish. It was an average product, it was quite nice and light but didn't moisturize as well as I would have liked.

Argania Desert Defence Shampoo*
I really liked this shampoo, this is my second bottle. It really helps to cleanse my hair and removes all of the product out of my hair really well, and it smells great too.

Sanctuary Spa Gentle Polish Body Scrub
This is my all - time favourite body scrub, I always repurchase. The beads really work into the skin - it isn't too gritty but you do feel like you are getting a good scrub out of the product, if that makes sense!

Balance Me Hand and Body Wash*
I have been using this mainly as a hand wash because it smells amazing, but it also doubles up as a really great body wash. It lasted us a while.

Soap and Glory The Righteous Butter
This is one of those cult pamper products, am I right? I think everyone and their mum has tried this. I really do like it as it is so thick and very moisturising. I do think it takes a long time to finish a tub off though!

Radox Shower Gel in Coconut Kiss
I usually love Radox products but I just didn't like the scent of this, the coconut smelt way too synthetic for me. It lathered a lot and cleansed well, I just didn't like the scent.

Lime Time: Zesty Beauty Favourites

My favourite scent of all time is lime. I absolutely adore the scent. Other than coconut, lime is definitely my first choice when looking for scented beauty products. I love the refreshing fruity kick of the scent, it is so addictive!

Cien Lime Kick Shower Gel
One of my favourite lime scented beauty products is a shower gel by Cien, which is available in Lidl of all places. I'm not usually a fan of shower gels and tend to stick to shower creams as they usually lather a lot more, but this one lathers really well. It smells delicious and is a great way to wake me up in the Morning. The best of all, this shower gel costs less than 50 pence, that is right, less than 50 British pennies!

Locitanne Zesty Lime Hand Cream
I am quite a typical girly girl and I love hand cream. My hands are constantly dry so I always need a pick me up with a good old hand cream. I got this Loccitane Hand Cream free with Marie Clare magazine last Month, and of-course opted for the free limited edition lime version. It smells gorgeous and keeps my hands very hydrated, I definitely recommend this if you can get your hands on it.

Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Buttercream
I mention Soap and Glory quite a lot on my blog, and one of my favourite scents is their 'Sugar Crush' line. If you haven't tried any of the Sugar Crush products, they smell very zesty and fresh. I love this as it is an in-between of a body lotion to a body butter, so not too thick. The scent lasts hours after applying, and makes my skin feel very soft indeed.

Have you got a particular favourite scent for your body products?
Do you prefer fruity scents or floral scents?

Recent Empties

I think this Months empties post should be renamed the gift set empties post as I have used up a load of beauty products I received in Christmas gift sets etc.

Soap and Glory The Righteous Butter x3 (!): That's right, I have finished off three tubs of Soap and Glory's infamous body butter this Month. It has taken me absolutely ages to finish using the huge tub, and the little tubs have been sat in my vanity for ages with barely any product left inside, so decided to finish them all off! I do love this body butter as it is my go-to product if I want smooth and soft skin. I think I will stay away from the S&G section in Boots for a while though!

Tesco Indulgent Conditioner in Coconut: Just a basic conditioner here for every day really, it smells really nice but it isn't a brilliant conditioner and I wouldn't write home about it but we've finally finished it all off. I probably wouldn't rush out to get it again.

Lipsy Body Scrub: This is just a random body scrub that we had in our bathroom, it was quite a nice scent and it was a decent body scrub, not much all to say about it really.

Sanctuary Body Lotion x2: More body lotions! These are lovely body lotions but we have far too many of them. it looks like one of them still has product left, which it does but it is stuck and I am just not that bothered about cutting it open to rescue it.

Gorgeous By Gok Shower Scrub: This product is absolutely gorgeous. I love Gok and absolutely love when Boots sold his Christmas gift sets. I would definitely buy this again but I am unsure if they are available to buy any more.

Cussons Imperial Leather Soft Touch Moisturising Shower Cream with Jojoba Milk & Vitamin E: I have finished off another bottle of this beautiful shower cream this Month. It is becoming the 'norm' now for me to pick this up when I go grocery shopping as we both love the scent and it generally is a really good body wash.

Hask Argan Oil Intense Deep Conditioning Hair Treatment: This was a little treat for my hair mid week last week. It was a nice conditioning treatment which made my hair quite soft  I did like it but prefer Hask's Oil Treatments rather than this conditioning treatment.

Soap and Glory Heel Genius: I have finally used this up. It smells really fresh but I don't think it is a great foot cream to be honest! I have a few tubes of this and they always come in the big gift sets at Christmas but they are something I could live without.

May Empties

It feels like I haven't written an Empties post in such a long time. They were one of my favourite posts to write when I first began blogging and I am not sure why I stopped writing them! Today I am here with quite a hefty post full of empty products, where I will be giving you the low - down on each and every product I finished this Month.

Cussons Imperial Leather Soft Touch Moisturising Shower Cream with Jojoba Milk & Vitamin E
This has quickly become my favourite shower cream. I have been reaching for it every day, it smells beautiful and lathers a lot by using the tiniest amount of product. This 300 ml bottle cost me about 80p (!) from Tesco. I am not sure why the price is so low, but have spotted the bigger bottles in the pound shop too. I hope it isn't being discontinued! I will definitely be stocking up as it smells gorgeous and makes me skin feel super soft.

Clearasil Ultra Overnight Wash
This face wash has been in our bathroom for what seems like an eternity, and me and my sister have finally finished it off. It is a nice facial wash, which is easy to apply to wash your face before bed. I do like this, but haven't seen or felt any amazing results from it, so probably wouldn't rush to the shops to get another one.

FCUK Body Spray
This is a mini spray of FCUK's original scent. It smells quite oriental and floral. The scent doesn't last very long, but is ideal to pop in your handbag if you are on the go and need a quick spritz.

Superdrug Coconut & Shea Butter Bath Milk
I picked this up not long ago and it hasn't lasted very long! It is a lovely bath milk which smells divine. I love anything coconut scented! This bath milk makes your bath smell beautiful, I would definitely pick this up again next time I am in Superdrug.

Sanctuary Spa Covent Garden Body Lotion
In all honestly, we have about 6 bottles of Sanctuary Body Lotion in our house (no lie!) so it is a relief when we finish them off! I love the scent and it is very moistursing, but lasts forever!

Scandalous Gorgeously Rich Moisturising Shampoo
Another product that has been in our bathroom for a while waiting to be used up, this shampoo smells gorgeous and I really do think it has helped make my hair feel softer and look a little more silkier, too.

Lovea Nourishing Mask
A truly amazing hair mask - I would definitely recommend. My hair feels in much better condition after I use this - I am gutted I have used it all up, but will definitely be purchasing another! I reviewed this in full here* last Month if you fancy a more in depth post.

Soap and Glory Butter Yourself Moisturise Lotion
Another moisturiser used up this Month, is Soap and Glory's 'Butter Yourself'. I have to be honest in saying I didn't enjoy using this product at all, which is strange coming from a huge Soap and Glory fan like me. I just didn't like the scent all too much of this product, and didn't really feel it made my skin feel softer. Also, it seemed to take a long time to sink into the skin.

Elemis Spa Home Jasmine and Rose Milk Bath*
I absolutely love Elemis Bath products, and I adore this scent. This was a little 60ml bottle, but lasted a fair few baths. I was kindly given this at an event recently, and am thinking of purchasing it in full size I love it that much! My skin felt fantastic after using this in my bath.

Matrix Biolage Color Last Cera Repair
I adore this product for treating my dull and lifeless coloured hair  It brings out the vibrance of my colour, it truly is a great product and I would recommend if you have permanently dyed hair like me.
I featured this product in a recent review which can be found here*. This product and others similar are available at Hairtrade.

Macadamia Deep Hair Masque
I am a big fan of Macadamia products, and this hair masque is one of my favourites. I am unsure where I picked this 30ml sachet from now, but I love using them. It ensures my hair feels silky soft after use, something my hair desperately needs as it is is terrible condition at the moment.

Have you tried any of the products I used up?

*I was gifted one product (Elemis Milk Bath) in a blogger event goody bag. I was not asked to feature this product on my blog . All opinions are 100 %  honest and my own. You can view my full disclaimer policy on the contact tab above*

March Favourites

March 2014 Beauty Favourites

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette
One of the products I have been completely loving in March is The Naked 3 palette from Urban Decay. I was actually super lucky and won it from a giveaway back in February by the lovely Daniella (thanks so much!) and I can completely understand the hype about it. It is super pigmented, the colour range is beautiful and I have loved experimenting with more rosier toned shades rather than my normal neutral eyes.

Jelly Pong Pong Duo Bronzer in Caribbean Sun
I am a big fan of blush, but find it super difficult to find bronzing products which look natural on my very pale skin. Although this blush and bronzer duo is probably aimed for the warmer Months, I really love the bronzer as it looks so natural and not muddy on my skin. The blush is also a very lovely flush of pink too.

Soap and Glory You Wont Believe Your Eyes Serum
I suffer with dark and heavy under eye circles, and no concealer can hide them. I have actually had this for well over a year now but forgot about it in my stash and rediscovered it a few weeks back. I look a lot more awake in a Morning after I have applied this the night before. I love the cooling sensation from the roller ball applicator too!

Balance Me Radiance Face Oil
This is the first facial oil I have ever used and I am so glad I have finally jumped onto the bandwagon! I love that it is a rollerball applicator which makes it super easy and non-messy to use. My skin feels so much different since bringing this into my skin routine, its definitely become a firm favourite of mine.

January Favourites

w7 In The Buff Natural Nudes Eye Colour Palette: I picked this up back in December from The Clothes Show Live and have since been playing around with the colours. It is good quality for the price and some of the colours are simply stunning. They are easy to blend and last quite well. I love neutral eye palettes as I find those colours easy for me to use. This is definitely worth picking up if you want a great neutral palette but don't quite want to spend almost £40 on an Urban Decay one.

Loreal Paris Collection Privee by Cheryl in Cheryl's Nude: Anyone that knows me well will know I am obsessed with Cheryl, so off course I had to purchase this in hope it would turn my lips into Cheryls. I actually fell in love with the colour after buying it as I find it a really pretty nude which is great for every day. It lasts a few hours before needing to reapply it, and it is quite affordable too if you are after a nice neutral every day lipstick.

Soap and Glory Scrub Of Your Life: When I write Monthly Favourites posts there is usually a Soap and Glory product or two in there somewhere, I have wrote about this scrub many times before, I continue to use it again and again as it is just a great product.

Topshop Lip Bullet in Rockabilly: I immediately bought this when I saw the name of it, as I have been brought up listening to a lot of rockabilly music, I was intrigued to try the lipstick as I don't often find anything or anyone that knows much about rockabilly. I again, brought this because of the name (shame on me) and not the colour, but I actually adore the colour. This is the first piece of make up I have had from Topshop and I was pleasantly suprised at how long it lasts on the lips and the beautiful colour of it, too.

Have any products stuck out to you this January?

Guest Post: Soap and Glory Thick and Fast Mascara

Hi everyone, today I have another guest post from a fantastic and lovely blogger, Amy. I really enjoy reading her blog, you can check it out here. I'll hand it over to Amy!
Hi guys!
First of all, many thanks to Zoe for letting me do a guest post for her lovely blog. :)
I thought that after checking out her product directory, it would be pretty fitting to talk a Soap and Glory product, since it seems she's a fan, and so am I!
I'll be reviewing the infamous Thick & Fast Mascara, which is both loved and hated in the world of beauty enthusiasts.

Anyway, here's what I reckon....

Packaging

In typical Soap & Glory style, the packaging is girly and pretty. What more is there really to say?
Price
This retails for £10, which isn't the cheapest you can get for "drugstore" makeup, but also not the most expensive by any means. I think it's pretty reasonable.

What I reckon....
This, for me, is totally hit and miss!
The formula is a nice jet black, but the brush is HUGE, which is usually fantastic, but can be a bit of a pain for dealing with teeny little lashes.
For me, it did live up to its claims of being volumising (and doing it fast, for that matter), but I do have a problem with my lashes clumping together a little, which sometimes happens when I add more than one coat, which is a shame, although I can usually fix this by giving it a thorough combing through with a spooly brush.
As for lasting power, I'd say this is pretty great! I don't have any problems when it comes to flaking and smudging, and my lashes seem to still look lovely and thick by the end of the day!

All in all...
I think this is a reasonably priced mascara with impressive results. Saying that, I wish Soap & Glory would perhaps downsize the brush to grab my teeny tiny lashes and save me from those irritating smudges on my eyelid.
Overall, a thumbs up, Soap & Glory!

Thank you for the fantastic review, Amy! Do check out her blog its a great read!
Have you tried this mascara too? What are your thoughts?

Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Cream

Following my previous post, I am sure you are aware I am a big fan of this brand, and this range!
If you are a huge fan of Soap and Glory I am sure you have looked at this or even tried it before. I adore S&G's original pink scent, but there is something about the very zesty sugar crush scent which really appeals to me. I love lime scents as I find it very refreshing. I have tried a few of the other Sugar Crush products before, but was intrigued to try the body butter cream.

The body butter cream is not quite as thick as the normal body butter (but is still thick) which is nice as I find creamier products a little easier to use. A little goes a long way with this, as it spreads evenly using the smallest amount, so it lasts a while! The scent is gorgeous and lasts well on the skin, I have even been complimented on my 'zesty scent' and asked what perfume I am wearing, just from applying this a few hours before. The butter cream feels soft on the skin, and leaves it feeling smooth and soft.
If you are a huge fan of the scent, use the body wash and the body scrub before hand as it leaves you smelling gorgeous and makes me feel wide awake and refreshed!

You can purchase this product for £10.50 from Boots in store or online here.

Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub

RRP £8 for 500ml

Being a huge Soap and Glory fan, I have grown a vast collection of their products over the past few years. A newer favourite of mine has to be their Sugar Crush products, which smell gorgeously of lime, lemon and brown sugar.
I picked up a gift set recently in the sales which included a 50 ml tub of the Sugar Crush Body Scrub. I have owned this previously in full size and loved it, so I was glad to pick it up again and thought it deserved a mention on this here little blog.

I find this scrub to be a gorgeous wake up call for a shower in the morning, as it simply smells so fresh and awakening. The scrub itself is of a good quality, and feels moisturizing on the skin. It makes the skin feel soft and smooth, and the beads in the scrub aren't harsh like you can sometimes find in other body scrubs. It is great to use to exfoliate and rids of any dead skin on the body.

I would recommend trying this out if you are a big fan of body scrubs and exfoliating and love a zesty, fruity scent.

Products I Regret Buying

Products I Regret Buying

As a beauty blogger and self - confessed make - up junkie, sometimes I buy things hoping for the best and I am left disappointed. I love reading rave reviews about products, but I find it so helpful when I find a blog post about things that have left the consumer disappointed. It gives a good heads up to think more about picking it up myself. I have devised a post sharing with you four products I have been disappointed with. Off  - course this is all of my own opinion, others may love these products but this is me giving my two cents.

MUA Matte Perfect Primer
Being a huge fan of MUA products, I bought this hoping it would be a great product. Unfortunately, for me, it seemed to just clog up my pores and really didn't work for me. I didn't like the consistency of the product, and didn't feel it controlled my oily skin at all, as it is advertised to. I think it is probably because it is a matte primer, which is probably not the best for my skin type, so this off course is not MUA's fault. I was just a little disappointed it didn't work for me, but hey-ho, you win some you lose some!

Revlon Precision Lash Adhesive
I picked this up in hope to improve my false lashes staying put for a longer amount of time. I picked out the clear drying white version. Thinking this would be better than the tiny samples you get in a pack of lashes, I gave this a whirl and was left a little disappointed. I found the adhesive didn't hold false lases down well at all, in fact it seems the same quality as the sample adhesives included in cheap eye lash packs. I tried the glue with various cheaper and higher ended false lashes, but I had the same problem. Maybe I am just not cut out to wear lashes, or I am awful at applying them (I am) but I felt a little disappointed with Revlon as a brand as the products I have purchased from them before have always been of an outstanding quality.

Soap and Glory Arch De Triumph
I was disappointed with this eye brow product which aims to help highlight and shape your brows. The brown side of the pencil was not pigmented enough to fill in my brows. This was the only colour available, so I wasn't sure whether the product is aimed for people with lighter coloured hair, or perhaps it is aimed for those with fuller brows that don't need quite as much filling in as I do. I found the highlighter end of the pencil quite chalky and didn't blend well at all. I would not purchase this product again.

Jelly Pong Pong Wide Awake Palette
Firstly, I was very confused about this palette. It includes 3 shimmery shadows designed for eye brows, is it just me that finds this odd? I did try these colours on my eye - brows and frankly it looked ridiculous. My sister has used them as eye - shadows and says they are OK quality, I just don't understand why they have been designed for brows, as I cant imagine ever using them for that purpose. Along with this, there are mini tweezers and brush which are of quite a good quality, The palette also includes a highlighting cream and illuminating cream which are of a decent quality. They don't do the greatest job and I wouldn't buy it again, but the creams are the best part about this palette. The packaging is very cheaply put together, and the stickers are ripped and not straight. I was really disappointed with this, as I know packaging isn't everything, but this particular product retails at £15 which is pretty expensive for something so poorly made. Maybe it was just a on - off, but I found it very disappointing and a waste of money. I do wonder what on Earth the creator of this palette was thinking, as putting these products together to aim for a 'wide awake' look doesn't make sense to me.

Are there any products you think are not worth buying?

Soap and Glory Heel Genius

Soap and Glory
Heel Genius Foot Cream

Soap and Glory Heel Genius, £5.50 from Boots

Foot Cream. What an interesting subject to blog about.
Ahem.
I hadn't realised up until recently that I use a huge amount of body lotions to make my skin feel extra nice... but I don't tend to look after my feet. I had this 'Heel Genis Foot Cream' a few years ago, but I think gave up on it and it got donated to a charity shop as I didn't use it. I rwecieved another one in one of their gift sets at Christmas, but neglected it until I had a good sort out a few weeks ago.

This foot cream is a 'soak in foot mask marvel' which you leave on your feet through the night, wearing cotton socks on your feet so it doesn't go all over your sheets. Soap and Glory say it leaves your feet feeling smooth and soft. I agree, it does make them feel soft. Am I kind of missing the point here? I haven't found that by using this foot cream helps my feet any better than a normal body moisturiser would. I have dry feet as I am on to go a lot. I expected a bit more from this, as Soap and Glory are a fab brand and the majority of their products leave me with fab results. I just dont think this really made much difference for me. I think it smells lovely just like many of their produts but I don't find it to be a miracle product and I doubt I would repurchase it in future.
Have you tried this? What is your verdict?

Soap and Glory Sit Tight Intense XS

Soap and Glory Sit Tight Intense XS

I brought this body firming serum about four or fives Months back now on a whim. I never really thought much of body firming products before, I didn't quite understand how they worked. I decided to give this Soap and Glory one a go though as I trust their products and wanted to see if it actually worked.

To use, you simply twist the top of the rolling massager to 'On', squeeze the tube slightly, and massage onto your skin in a circular motion.  This is best to use on the top of your legs and thighs I have found. You do this for a few minutes, then leave for a few more minutes to allow the product to absorb into your skin. This is meant to help to 'shift excess fluid and smooth bumpy areas'.
It does feel very strange the first few times you use it. I didn't expect much from it but you do feel a slight heated tingly sensation, not uncomfortable at all but you can feel the pressure applied onto your skin.
I used this every other Morning and Night for over two Months, expecting fabulous results. off course you do have to exercise and eat healthily, in order for a more toned body, it cant work wonders (!) but I did find it to work well for me. It isn't an overall fantastic life changing product, I still have cellulite and all! But I do think it makes my skin feel a little tighter and smoother.

What are your thoughts on body firming products like this? Would you give them a go?

Soap and Glory Peaches And Clean

Soap and Glory Peaches and Clean
4-in-1 Wash Off Deep Cleansing Milk

I came across this deep cleansing milk a good few Months ago now in storage. I had it in the Big Soap and Glory gift set at Christmas, but hadn't got round to using it. I love the majority of S & G products and am forever singing their praises, I am glad to say this has become another one of my all - time favourites!

This product is a multi - purpose cleanser in effect. It promotes to smooth the skin, be a general natural cleansing soap, soften skin and purify, and deep cleanse, to give the skin a flawless, brighter and clearer complexion.
I use it on a night time when removing my make - up, as it does a fab job of removing all of my make up! I'm not sure that is the aim, but my skin feels much brighter after I have been using this for a good few weks now. It is so easy to use too - if you are lazy with skin care like me, you just dab a bit on to your face, massage into your skin, then wash off! It is so quick and easy, my skin feels rejuvinated and fresh on a night time.

This fab product costs £8 from Boots!

Have you tried any S&G Skin Care?

Review: Soap and Glory Hand Food

Soap and Glory Hand Food

Soap and Glory Hand Food Hand Cream, £5 from Boots

Soap and Glory's Hand Food is one their infamous products they are so well - known and loved for.

It is in the scent 'Original Pink' which is S&G'S original scent of orange leaf, lemon, peach, strawberries, summer rose, gardenia blooms and jasmine. Hand Food also contains she butter, macadamia oil and marshmallow, which makes it smell super sweet and leaves your hands smelling of loveliness.

The hand cream itself is super - hydrating, sinking into the skin within minutes. Hand Food moisturises your hands so they are left feeling super soft and smooth, say good bye to dry hands if you use this!
The scent is gorgeous (sorry I know its annoying attempting to describe a scent) but it really is, you have to go and give it a sniff if you haven't yet, I know you will fall in love with it.
This is something I am always recommending to friends and whenever I take it out my bag the all want to use it!

What hand cream do you use?
