NEW IN: Sleek Brow Intensity and Lip VIP in Ready To Rock

It is no secret that I love writing about my love for Sleek makeup products on my blog - just check out my product directory; I've featured so many Sleek products on here over the Years, you can really tell its one of my fave brands. I have two new products to share with you today, and heads up - I am really impressed with both of them.

I adore this shade of lipstick, isn't it just beaut. The shade 'Ready To Rock' is a dark nude pink/mauve colour. I find it a really great shade for everyday wear, it isn't quite a matte finish and leaves a shimmer to the lips. I can't praise Sleeks Lip VIP Lipsticks enough - they stay put on the lips, last a fair amount of time and have a gorgeous and vast amount of different shades to choose from, and all for the tiny price tag of £5.50. I'm planning on writing a separate post dedicated to my Sleek Lip Vip lipsticks with lots of swatch photos, watch this space.

Another new product from Sleek is the Brow Intensity. This handy little tool has a tiny mascara-like wand with a sponge tip on one end to shape and define the brows with the coloured fibre gel, and a highlight on the other to define your brows. I really like this product, particularly the brow gel product as it is a great match for my brows, isn't messy and actually lasts really well throughout the day and keeps my 'brows at bay. The highlight is great to use under and over the brow arch too, I only wish it was a slightly lighter shade highlight, but this is just a personal preference.
Brow Intensity comes in five different shades which I think is pretty good considering a lot of brow products tend to come in only two or three shades.

Sleek Rockstars Collection

Sleek are one of the best budget beauty brands available in the UK, and always have something new up there sleeve that doesn't cost the earth and are also just as good as the top brands. They recently launched their Rockstars Collection, which includes some beautiful products: two I-lust palettes, two strobing souffle's, and two Lip VIP lipsticks. I have one of each products that I have been using over the past few Weeks, and it is safe to say I am more than impressed.

I wear quite a lot of Sleek's Lip VIP lipsticks, so I already knew that 'Superstar' would be long-lasting and pigmented. Its a beautiful shade of purple and is very striking, great for fans of vibrant and bold lips. This leaves a pearl fleck finish to the lips, which gives a metallic/glossy look. The lipstick almost looks two - toned once applied. I think this lipstick has a really beautiful undertone to the vibrant purple which makes it look really bright.

The I-lust palette 'Hidden Gems' includes six bright, pigmented and incredibly creamy shadows that are full of glitter and sparkle. There is a mixture of shades and has a great selection for a glam night out. I wanted to give a special mention to the shade Ruby Red, it is very pigmented which is something I rarely see in red glitter shades, it is beautiful and I want to wear it all of the time!

The strobing souffle is a very new concept for me, I'm definitely an amateur when it comes to highlight and contour, never-mind strobing. The shade 'Smoky Quartz' is a luminous gold and gives a great glow. I apply this instead of highlight near my cheek bones and it gives such a gorgeous shimmer when the light hits. I find this so easy to apply and it lasts pretty well throughout the evening.

Some of the products from the Rockstars Collection are currently reduced in price online at the Sleek website, so are well worth checking out.

Stocking Stuffers For Beauty Lovers

Are you looking for stocking fillers for someone that loves their beauty? I have it covered. I've found a few little goodies which would make the perfect stocking contents for any beauty fan. Don't forget to add the chocolate coins!

Everyone loves a lip balm, don't they? These super cute Jelly Belly Lip Balms* make great little gifts. There are a range of flavours to choose from (my fave is Coconut!). These super cute lip balms are available in store at Claires. Jelly Belly also stock some pretty cute little gift sets too such as this Merry Kissmas Set, which would be a lovely little gift to open on Christmas Morning.
If you know a girl who loves their contour and highlight, you can't really go wrong with the Sleek Strobing Souffle*. Designed to add a gorgeous glow to the complexion, this is perfect for parties and nights out. This new product from Sleek's Rockstars Collection is one you don't want to miss out on.
I always carry a little mirror in my handbag for lipstick touch ups, and I think this Cath Kidston Pocket Mirror in the Rose Paisley print makes a great little gift for pretty much any girly girl really. It is both useful and super pretty!
I'm a big fan of Lush's Christmas goodies, but only recently discovered this amazing product which is the Lush Buche De Noel Fresh Cleanser. The scent is a real treat, not to mention it being an amazing cleanser which brightens and hydrates the skin. I think this would make a great gift for someone that enjoys their skincare, or maybe someone wanting to try a fresh cleanser for the first time, as this is a great product to introduce someone to fresh skincare.
I picked up these PS PRO Premium False Nails in the White Aurora Design from Primark for my Sisters stocking. This design is so pretty and perfect for Christmas festivities, and they only cost £3!

Super Nude Lips for a Pastel Unicorn Princess

Hair: Colour Addict Spray in Hair Chalk in Lilac*
Top: Primark  | Skirt: New Look
Lips: Sleek Eau La La Lip Liner in Lingerie* & Sleek Lip VIP Lipstick in Icon*

The title of this post is just a bit of fun really, although I would love to be a unicorn princess. I think I would make quite a good pastel princess, and, well, I think my inner spirit animal is definitely a unicorn.

Sleek are one of the best brands for good quality lipsticks with a reasonable price tag in my opinion. I am all over the nude lipstick look (a little late to the party, but better late than never right?) and I've found three brilliant lip products to create a gorgeous nude lip.
Sleeks' Goodnight Sweetheart collection includes this gorgeous new lipstick in Icon. It is a gorgeous deep  nude pink. The formulation of the lipstick is half matte, half velvet, and is super pigmented. I've worn this throughout the day and its lasted so well, even after eating and drinking it is still in place without any fading after several hours.
The lip liner which is perfect to pair with this lippie is the Eau La La Liner in Lingerie. Being a slightly darker pink/brown nude, it matches really well with Icon, as well as the Sleek Lip Crayon in Notorious Nude - a true nude lip product which stays well on the lips and has some great staying power. It is so creamy and even gives a little tingling sensation when first applied to the lips. This is going to be my go-to lip crayon for Autumn/Winter.

The Best of: Sleek

It is no secret I am a big fan of budget beauty brands. Of-course, I do love to delve into the luxury beauty world too from time to time, but I am that kind-of person that tightens the purse strings a little bit and tries to find duplicates or cheaper alternatives to the high end brands. One brand in particular that I love is Sleek. Their products are incredibly affordable; but this does not reflect in the product- their products are just as good as the next high-end make-up brand.

Their eye shadows in particular are of a very good quality, with the shadows being highly pigmented, soft, creamy and easy to blend. I will continue to recommend Sleek's eye shadows until the end of time! A firm favourite eye shadow palette of theirs is the Storm palette; a favourite of many I believe. I love the neutral shade range as well as a few shimmery greens and blues. This is definitely a palette I reach for on a regular basis.
Another product I think is amazing from Sleek is their corrector and concealer palette. I am not a concealer or corrector pro by any means, but this palette works like magic to hide my dark circles, conceal any pesky spots and, best of all, the powder included in this nifty little palette ensures a long lasting coverage.

What are your favourite Sleek products? Do you have any recommendations?

Products I Always Go Back To

I featured this very product on my blog way back in 2012 (!) and have since repurchased it a few times. It is brilliant value for money, and the shadows last on the eyelids for a good few hours. I love the selection of natural shades, making it the perfect go-to palette for almost any occasion.

Lush Twilight Bath Bomb, £3.75
Twilight has been my favourite Lush bath bomb for a good while. No wait, of all time. This turns the bath water a beautiful shade of purple, and the scent of lavender helps me to relax and settle to sleep after a pampering bath. It is something I always go back and repurchase as I know its such a good product, I cant help myself.

Soap and Glory Clean, Girls Body Wash, £6.50 for 500ml
For me, Soap and Glory are one of those stand-out brands which I am always adding to my shopping basket. Their Clean, Girls Body Wash has been a firm favourite of mine for absolutely ages - I'm talking Years. I love the scent, Mist You Madly, so this body wash is just perfect and also leaves my skin feeling and smelling super gorgeous.

What products are you always going back to?

New In: Sleek Enchanted Forest Eyeshadow Palette

A brand I have always been a fan of is Sleek, particularly their super affordable eye shadow palettes. I am always interested in having a peak when they add a new palette to their collection, so when I heard a little about their new Enchanted Forest palette, I was eager to see what the colour selection would be.

Sleek did not disappoint - with a selection of pinks, greens, blues and browns, the palette is perfect for Autumn and Winter and can create a beautiful smokey eye with those creamy greens and browns. There are some shimmers and some matte shades, so there is something to please everyone in this palette.
I would say that the majority of the shadows are really pigmented, soft and easy to apply, apart from one or two of the lighter shades; which are not quite as pigmented as the others, but still of a really good quality.

Sleek Lip VIP Lipsticks Review and Swatches

Sleek are a beauty brand I have been a huge fan of for a while - their eye-shadow palettes are amazing quality for such a reasonable price. Something I was excited to try were their newly launched Lip VIP Lipsticks.
The collection includes six shades which are inspired by the luxuries of being a VIP - check out the very aptly chosen names.

Private Booth - a creamy nude
Flaunt It - a daring, bold orange
Backstage - a warm pink
Night Spot - a classic red
Reserved - a light, girly pink
Guest List - a wearable coral for every day wear

The lipsticks are extremely creamy, pigmented and moisturising. The colour lasts on the lips for around 5 hours without the need to reapply. I love the bold colours and feel the quality of the lipsticks is brilliant considering they cost less than £6 each. I couldn't recommend them more.
The Sleek Lip VIP Lipsticks are available from Boots, Superdrug and online at  www.sleekmakeup.com, costing £5.49 each.

Sleek Blush in Rose Gold

Rose Gold £4.49

This blusher seemed to mix up quite a stir thanks to the popularity of rose gold amongst the beauty and fashion obsessed blogging world, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it but it became almost impossible to find in any of my local stores. I finally picked it up a few weeks ago, and as blushers are my weakness, I couldn't wait to give it a go!

My first impression was that the colour was very pretty; a very baby pink with a coral undertone to it. As you can see, there is quite a lot of gold shimmer to it.
The product is very pigmented, so only a little on your blush brush is needed, or use a light hand.
The blusher is a very warm toned product. As the blusher has copper/gold tones to it, it works well as a two in one product as a highlight and contour.
Rose Gold is often compared to NARS Orgasm, I don't own the infamous blusher myself but I do think this is a great product, which gives a beautiful colour to your cheeks.
With a very reasonable price of just £4.49, I would recommend picking it up yourself!

My Lipstick Collection!

Lipstick Collection!

Hi hunnis, hope you are all well. I have been wanting to post a lipstick collection for a good while now, but I have just been pretty busy I haven't had chance to get round to it until now. My collection is not huge but I would say I do have a fair few lipsticks and I definitely do not need to buy any more! The lipsticks are mainly drug store but there are a few random ones in there too. I usually go for very similar toned lipsticks as you will see, there is a fair few muted pinks!

MAC Lipsticks - M.A.C Red, Pink Plaid

These two are the only MAC products I own as of yet, and they are fairly recent purchases. M.A.C Red (Back 2 Mac) is a pure red which I knew I instantly wanted. It has a Satin Finish and is very long lasting. I don't own any pure reds and I wanted a good quality red so it would last through out the day. Pink Plaid is a very pretty pink which I find really wearable for every day. The finish on this lipstick is Matte which is probably my favourite finish on a lipstick. It is highly pigmented and I use this a lot.

MUA Lipsticks - L-R: Shade 3, Shade 7, Shade 9, Shade 12, Shade 14

As you can see I have a little selection of MUA lipsticks, as they only cost a pound each they are so easy to pick up and try out any old colour. My favourite of all five is the nude (shade 14) which is long - lasting and a beautiful colour. Shade 3 and 12 are lipsticks I picked out when I was feeling daring and haven't used very much yet as I am not confident enough to pull off a very bright pink lip. Shades 7 and Shade 9 I use quite a lot as they are really pretty and quite moisturising on the lips for such a tiny price tag.

Jemma Kidd Make Up School Ultimate Lipstick Duo in 11 Rita, 12 Dolly

These lipstick duos are double ended and have a balm on either side. I don't really tend to use the balm to be honest. Rita is a very pretty dark nude and Dolly is a very 'dolly pink'. I like the colours but I was not impressed with the quality - Rita pretty much snapped off when I first tried it, and both lipsticks are very thin so I find it difficult to apply from the tube.

Natural Collection Lipsticks - Coral Shimmer, Rose Bud

I used to have a lot of Natural Collection lipsticks but they seem to have disappeared! I could only find these two which are both pretty colours. Coral Shummer is a very 'Salmon' colour which I adore, I am not brave enough for matte corals so this is quite a sheer coral (but is build-able for pigmentation). Rose Bud is a lipstick I bought a while back but hasn't really been used much. I find these products to break inside the tube after a short amount of time owning them, has anyone else found that?

Rimmel - L-R: Lasting Finish by Kate Moss in 03, Lasting Finish by Kate Moss in 08, Lasting Finish by Kate Moss in 19, Lasting Finish in 077 Asia, Lasting Finish by Kate Moss in 101

I am a big fan of Rimmel Lasting Finish lippies, in particular the Kate Moss range. The ones I own are all pretty much pink/nude tones and very moisturising  My least used one is Asia, I just don't tend to reach for this colour as its quite dark on the lips and I don't think it suits me very much, but is still a very pretty colour. 03, 08 and 19 are very pigmented and last for about 4 hours on the lips.

Maxfactor Colour Elixir in 610 Angel Pink, No 7 Moisture Drench Lipstick in 40 Pink Lemonade

Angel Pink by Maxfactor is a beautiful girl-y baby pink, which I adore, it is one of my favourites. It applies so nicely to the lips and feels so moisturising, if you want to see swatches click on the link to the blog post I have written previously as there are swatches and a full review on there. Pink Lemonade by No 7 is VERY moisturising, almost feels like a lip balm once on. I haven't used this as much as I had thought I would have, as it is so sheer and seems less pigmented than when I first bought it. It is very similar to my lip colour which is why I tend not to reach for it as much.

Soap and Glory Lip Stick in Perfect Day, Sleek True Colour Lipstick in 775 Liqueur

I bought the Soap and Glory lipstick on a whim, and I have got to be honest that I have only tried it once. It is very dark on the lips and I am not quite confident enough to pull it off, so this may be given to my sister. It seems a nice product but it looks a lot different on the lips than when I swatched in store before I bought it. It is a very dark pink. The sleek lipstick is my go - to every day lipstick. It lasts well, and is a muted pink which adds a touch of colour to the lips. The formula of the lipstick is good as it lasts all day and does not cause any chapping or dry lips.

Barry M Cosmetics Lip Paint in 152 Vintage Rose

This is a gorgeous colour. Sorry the photo does not do it justice, the camera I was using kind of gave up on me towards the end! This a really deep pink berry colour. I adore this. This is the first Barry M lip paint I have ever tried and I must say it is very mositurising on the lips, I definitely recommend.

Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm in 30 Peach Kiss, MUA Lip Boom in Its A Situation, Barry M Lip Lacquer Crayon in No 2

These products are not exactly classed as lipsticks but I thought I would add them here anyway. The Baby Lips Lip Balm is almost like a sheer lipstick so I thought I would include it here too. It is super moisturising, albeit not the greatest lip balm, I like the sheer peach colour to it. MUA Lip Boom is a very dark red, not moisturising, leaves your lips very dry, doesn't last very long, BUT is a beautiful colour. It is a deep red/almost purple tone. The lip gloss on the other side is quite nice alone, but I wouldn't usually put it with the lipstick.
The Barry M lip crayon is a product I wouldn't normally use as I have never really used many lip crayons or pens, but I love this. It is a bright, sparkly red which lasts really well and feels very creamy on the lips. I want to get more of these!

Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker in Punch Bowl, Accessorize Diamond Sparkle Lip Gloss in Shade 1 Magical, Front Cover Lipgloss Duo

These are the only lipglosses I own, so I thought I would share them here also! Sexy Mother Pucker Lipgloss - I never understood the hype for this! I cannot stand this lip gloss, it is so, so sticky! I always hear great reviews about these lip sticks but I just find this ridiculously sticky I cannot cope with it on my lips for longer than 20 seconds. The Accessorize lipgloss is the complete opposite. Its not sticky at all, gives great colour pay off and looks nice on top of all of my muted pink lipsticks! The double ended Front Cover lipgloss (I cant find the name) is quite nice, a little sticky but bearable. I prefer the light shade as it is quite sheer, the bright pink is a little gloopy and I don't use it much.

That is it! All my lipsticks, I quite like my collection I just need to be a bit more daring and try and wear the colours I am wary of.
I have left links to my blog posts on reviews for each individual lipstick if you want to see a full review, swatches and to see what they are like on the lips.If you would like to see a review of any of the other lipsticks which I haven't already reviewed, do let me know and I will do that next :)

What is your staple lip colour?

Sleek iDivine Palette in Lagoon

Review and Swatches: Sleek iDivine Palette in Lagoon
Aqua Collection Limited Edition

Hi lovelies. Today I am reviewing a stunning eye shadow palette  by Sleek which I picked up a few weeks ago. I am a huge fan of Sleek i-Divine palettes and already own a fair few, I couldn't help but add this beauty to my collection.

Packaging and Information:

You can buy this palette for a limited time only in selected Superdrug stores or Superdrug online, the palette costs £7.99 and contains 12 eye shadows.  The packaging is in the normal sleek (heh) black case with a large mirror above. The palettes are very slim so are great for travelling.

Pigmentation:

The pigmentation of the eye shadows is very high, as you can see from the swatches below. I really like the quality of these eye shadows as they are always long lasting and highly pigmented.

Swatches:

L-R: Sassea, Deep Water, Reflection, Emerald, Oyster, Black Pearl.

L-R: Pink Jewel, Sand Dollar, Underworld, Sea Shell, Night Sky, Ariel.

What are my overall thoughts?

I think the pigmentation of the eye shadows is really good. I like the selection of colours and think the names of the colours suit them well. The eye shadows stay in place all day and blend out very nicely. I have tried a few colourful looks with these eye shadows and I really liked experimenting with the pretty colours such as Ariel and Emerald. I think this palette would be ideal for someone that is adventerous or loves a lot of colour and mixing their make up a bit, and it is so affordable too if like me, you like to experiment but not quite sure to start. My fave ee shadow is Ariel, probably because its such a girly colour and reminds me of Disney's Little Mermaid which I adored as a child!
I really like Sleek products especially their iDivine palettes as they are of great quality and such a small price too. I would repurchase this again if I was able to but unfortunately it is limited edition so I would get one quick if you are after one! If I were to rate it out of 10 I would rate this product 8/10.

Are you a fan of Sleek iDivine palettes?

Review: Sleek Lash Out Mascara

Sleek are deserving well-known for their fantastic i-Divine eye shadow palettes. A few months ago I was browsing their stand in Superdrug and fancied trying one of their mascaras. I looked at the four mascaras they had available, ad picked out 'lash out', the most expensive and the most appealing mascara they had.

As you can see from my photograph below, the brush is very fine and slim but coats the lashes very well and does not clump your eye lashes at all. I would say the effect it leaves is a more of a every day look, I would probably use a different mascara for a night out as it isn't too exaggerate even when built up.

The mascara is impressive as it lasts all day without clumping. When applying, it doesn't create those annoying dots above your eyes while it is drying either which off course is a bonus!

Lash Out retails at £7 respectively. I think the price is very reasonable for the quality and packaging of the product. It is available online and also in store at Superdrug.

I would repurchase this mascara again. 8/10.

Have you tried any other Sleek products/

Review: Sleek True Colour Lipstick in Liqueur

Sleek True Colour Lipstick in Liqueur 775
Formula: Sheen
Price: £4

Swatch and on lips

All photographs are of my own.

This gorgeous lipstick in Liqueur applies really easily to the lips, and looks lovely built up. The colour stays for around 6 hours, which is good for such a little bargain. The packaging, as most Sleek products, is gorgeous, slick and sophisticated, with even the smallest pretty detail made to the lipstick box.
This lipstick has been my every day lipstick for the past few days, I really love it and think it compliments my skin tone. I'm not sure whether I would wear it on a night out, but its beautiful for every day / casual wear.
I'm really impressed with this lipstick, and haven't found any faults with it so far.
9/10.

Hope you enjoyed this mini review!
If you would like to see any more Sleek reviews, comment below!
I have the new Sleek mascara as well as a few their other products, so if you would like to see that let me know!

Review: Sleek Au Naturel Palette

Sleek i-Divine Au Naturel Palette

As I mentioned in a recent haul post, I picked up this beauty I've wanted for months. Every time I go to any local Superdrug, they never seem to have it in stock. But my luck changed and I managed to get it!  A few of you requested me to do a review, so I will just do a brief review as I have not had it long, and provide some swatches for you :)

This is the gorgeous packaging outerbox. I love sleeks i-Divine palettes, they look so sophisticated and slim to fit into any make-up bag. As with all i-Divine palettes, there is a mirror above the shadows, but I have not photographed this due to the flash ruining the picture.

The palette includes 12 very neutral, usuable shadows. I absolutely love the colour selection it has, with both matte and 'pearl' shadows, you can use this palette to make a simple everyday eye-look, a smoky eye, or even use them for a night out.
In terms of pigmentation, the darker colours on the bottom row are Very pigmented, I am really impressed. The lighter shadows on the top row are less pigmented, but this is commonly known with most drug-store make up brands. Particularly Nougat and Cappuccino, but I would tend to use these two colours as bases anyway, so I'm not too fussed :)
The lastability of these shadows is impressive for a palette which only costs around £6.50, as I have been using these shadows for the past four days now and they have not slid off through-out the day.

Swatches: Left to right: Noir, Regal, Mineral Earth, Bark, Moss and Conker.

Left to right: Taupe, Toast, Honeycomb, Cappuccino, Nubuck and Nougat.

All in all, I am quite impressed with this Sleek product. The only fault I could make would be that the two shades Nougat and Cappuccino could be more pigmented, but as said above, its easy to work with.
I would defiitely repurchase this product in the future as the colours are very wearable and all colours would look nice mixed together to get a neutral day look, or an edgy smoky look.
8/10

Hope you enjoyed this review and the swatches! If you would like me to review any other Sleek products (I have built up quite the collection over the past week!) comment below!
