Summer Holiday Essential - Soap and Glory Scrub Of Your Life

Summer Holiday Essential!
Soap and Glory Scrub Of Your Life

This is a short and snappy little post sharing with you one of my Summer Holiday essentials! I have decided to post a little series of my favourite and some of the best holiday essentials, whether you are travelling down to the seaside at Blackpool or even jet setting off to Spain.

It is a gorgeous, thick, creamy scrub full of exfoliating beads to make sure your skin is left feeling refreshed and smooth. After using this on a Morning I feel very moisturised and ready for the day ahead. This nifty little scrub is 50ml so a fab size to take away with you and pop in your travel bag. This 50 ml travel size tube is only £2.50 so doesn't break the bank.

You can pick this up from Boots instore or online

Dirty Works Blemish Buster Face Mask

Dirty Works Blemish Buster
2 - in - 1 Scrub and Mask

Hi everyone, today I am going to introduce you to a product I have been loving recently. I find it really hard to fully review a product like this, as we all have different skin and a face mask is basically... a face mask. I just wanted to make you aware of how fab it has been for me!

I love a good face mask. I have been using this Dirty Works Blemish Buster as a face mask once a fortnight for a while now and it lasts really well. It can also be used as a daily face scrub, which is great but I prefer it as a face mask. It is really refreshing after use and my skin feels very supple and soft. I have noticed my skin's natural blemishes calm down a lot after I use this product, which is a relief!

You may have trouble finding this product as I can't seem to find it on the interwebs, but Dirty Works products are stocked in Sainsburys stores across the Country.

Have you tried any Dirty Works products before?

Sanctuary Intesive Heel Balm

Sanctuary Spa Intensive Heel Balm

SS Intensive Heel Balm is available at Boots

I adore body lotions, I am always swapping the body creams and moisturisers I use but foot creams are something I never really use. I had this Sanctuary Spa Intensive Heel Balm in a gift set I picked up from the Christmas Sales and I hadn't used it, so decided I was going to see what wonders it would do!
Feet are something I wouldn't normally talk about here on my blog, but lets face it, we all have feet and we should look after them!

Every night for about 3 or 4 weeks I used a thick layer of the cream on my feet and would let it sink into the skin and wear cotton socks to bed. I noticed a slight change in my feet that they felt softer, but that was it really. It may be a product that takes a few months to work maybe? But I haven't noticed much difference. i probably wouldn't buy this again as I haven't noticed any difference really and would probably stick to a normal body moisturiser rather than buy a heel balm.

Have you tried any foot care products?

Granny Sally's Soap Kitchen

Granny Sally's Soap Kitchen

Hi everyone. If you are a big lover of bath and body care, do you tend to stick to mainstream brands or do you look for independant, home made companies?

I was introduced to Granny Sally's Soap Kitchen in April when I was kindly gifted some samples of their lovely products at a Blogger Meet Up. I have since used most of them and forgot to photograph them, but I wanted to share with you how fab their company is anyway.
(I will have a review up of one of the samples very soon!)

G.S.S.K (what I will call them for short! ) is a family - run company located in Scotland that create gorgeous hand - made soaps, candles, shower shakes, bath fudge, scrubs, shower melts and much more. All of their products are unique and very, very affordable. Here are a few of my favourites!

Sweet Sensations - includes shower shake, fairy cake, mini cake slice and a jelly baby £10

Chocolate mint shower shake £1.50

Fairy cake candle £2

A lot of their products are food and drink inspired (don't get munching on them though - although they smell good enough to eat!)
You can find the link to their website here. - let me know what your favourites are!

OPI from the Pound Shop?

Bargain Of The Week!

Just thought I would give you guys a heads up to let you know there are O.P.I nail polishes in poundland stores right now!

They are the Shatter polishes and my store had an array of colours, such as red, green, black, and the one I opted for, silver.
The nail polishes are still available online for the price of around £8, so for a good quality nail brand you are saving yourself 7 squid!

Rumour has it there are also some Dainty Doll products found in some Poundlands too...

The Body Shop Cranberry Joy Body, Room and Linen Spritz

The Body Shop Cranberry Joy Body, Room and Linen Spritz

£3.50, The Body Shop Sale

Hi everyone, today's post is a little different from my normal reviews, as I am writing about a body, room and linen spritz, which basically means it is a fragrance for the home as well as yourself.

The scent is very strong with berries, filling your home with a lovely homely scent which really does last for hours. It is a multi - purpose product which smells gorgeous, I think I am going back to purchase some more before the sale ends. I adore the scent and the time it lasts is fantastic. It is so fresh and fruity, it really uplifts my mood. Great product!

I assume the product was around £7 full price, but I picked it up for just £3.50 in the sale. Here are some of their current full priced linen room and body spritz which are available.

You can purchase this in store or online in The Body Shop sale.

Oversized Structured Tote Bag £16
Matalan

Image from Matalan

Hi everyone!
I had been lusting over quite a fair few Zara bags recently, but me being me who likes a bargain and wanted to have a look if I could find cheaper alternatives, I trawled the interwebs to stare at pretty handbags. As you do.
This bag is no dupe for a Zara bag - I just think it looks as good as a Zara bag. It is over - sized and sturdy, looks fab and the best bit - only £16!
It is a plain black oversized handbag with plenty of room for books and folders, so it could be used as a students bag, work bag, holiday bag?
As you can see it has both a long and short strap so ideal for every day.
I thought I would share it as thought it was a complete bargain for such a stylish bag.

You can buy this online or instore at Matalan.

Nivea Refreshingly Soft Moisturising Cream

Nivea Soft Refreshingly Soft Moisturising Cream

I was around 14 when I decided it was about time I got into a skin care routine. Previously I never really bothered looking after my skin but having quite oily skin made me realise I needed to take better care of it. The first moisturiser I began to use was this one - Nivea Soft Moisturising Cream - I must of liked it as I still use it today!

It leaves the skin feeling very smooth, supple and moisturised. I only use it as a face cream now, but it is great to moisturise your hands or body too.
It is a very thick moisturising so a little really does go a long way with this, sometimes I feel it is a little too thick to apply in the day so I use it as a night cream.
I really like this moisturiser as it has no scent to it - I adore my sweet and fruity body products but when applying moisturiser to my face especially I am not fond on scents.

You can purchase this moisturising cream from Boots and Superdrug, along with other pharmacies and supermarkets.

What is your go - to every day moisturiser?

Soap and Glory Clean On Me Shower Gel

Soap and Glory
Clean On Me Shower Gel

Soap and Glory is has been a big favourite of mine the past few years. One of my favourite products is Clean On Me shower gel which I am sharing with you here.

Clean on me is quite a thick, creamy texture and lathers really well onto skin. It smells very sweet which is distinctive to Soap and Glory. It is very refreshing, smells lovely and a little goes a long way. It leaves my skin feeling soft and quite moisturised, too.

It was actually voted Best Shower Gel by Company Awards in 2012 so that says something!

Clean On Me is available in different sizes on their website or from Boots. You can purchase Clean On Me from Boots in-store or online.
