I & K Clip in Body Wave Hair Extensions

I have quite short hair with no volume, so having extensions does help uplift my dull hair.
The set of extensions I am featuring today are called the I & K Clip in Body Wave in Colour 2, and they are available from Hairtrade for £62.99. They are sold as a 18" set, but all I & K extensions are actually two inches longer than specified to ensure that you wont lose the hair if you have them cut in. This set is made from 100% human hair. The hair can be cut, coloured, straightened or curled.
I have tried I & K hair extensions before and found them to be really good quality, so I was eager to try this curly set to see if they were just as good, I expected as much.

The quality of the hair is really good. It looks really natural and blends in well with my own hair colour, so it is a really good match. The hair is really thick and there is a lot of it, too, so it doesn't look really false. As you can see from the above picture, there is several pieces ranging from different sizes. There are 10 pieces of hair with 18 clips attached.
The clips are sturdy and are are already attached to all but two hair pieces, which is really handy if you have trouble attaching clips to hair extensions.
I personally like the look of straight hair and curly hair mixed together, I think it looks nice and not too 'styled' which is the look I have gone for when wearing the extensions. In the future I am also going to curl my own hair and add my extensions for more volume.

I really like how the extensions are packaged from I & K. They come in a handy clip bag which is great to hang up and keep extensions in for storage.

You can check out other hair extensions on Hairtrade's website.

I&K Clip - in Straight Hair from Hairtrade

Hi everyone. It seems like forever since I sat down and wrote a blog post. The last week or two have been quite busy for me - I never usually have plans! - I have really missed blogging (and reading other blogs) so I am glad to be back.

I & K 18" Clip - in Straight Hair in Darkest Brown

Hairtrade hair extensions

Today I am featuring a set of Hair Extensions on my blog. If you know me well, you will know that I hate my own hair and I pretty much detest it any length I have it, so being able to try out some hair extensions really excited me. I have always wanted long hair but my own hair always breaks off and is in really bad condition once it gets past a certain length (due to years of colouring and using heat) so to be able to clip in extensions as and when I want to, without the worry of the condition of my hair is fantastic.

The quality of the hair is fantastic - it is 100% human hair and the colour is pretty much a perfect match for my own hair colour. I am not as clued up as I would like to be when it comes to hair extensions, as I have only dabbled in wearing them occasionally in the past, but my sister (who has worn extensions for years) tells me that these are really good quality, and that the clips are better than any she has used in the past.
The clips are already attached to the hair which is a complete bonus. The clips are good quality, too. I had help putting them in by my Sister, and I have also watched a video on the website which shows you how to clip them into your hair, which is really helpful.

The set includes 10 clips with 18 clips attached, as well as two hair pieces without clips. The set has enough hair for your entire head, which is great as you don't have to buy anymore extras.
The hair itself looks really full and thick, and blends really well with my own short hair.

This set is the 18" Darkest Brown - I have read on the website that the hair actually comes two inches longer than you order it incase you have them cut in, so you wont lose any length. I think that is really thoughtful and I am really impressed with the length of the hair.

My extensions arrived really well packaged and in good condition. I really like the pouch case they arrived in, this makes for great storage and to keep the hair all together, if you have limited space like me this is a bonus.

Have you tried 1&K extensions before?
Are you a fan of wearing hair extensions?

Matrix Biolage ColorLast Cera Repair

Matrix Biolage Color Last Cera Repair from Hairtrade

Hairtrade hair extensions

I am a huge fan of Hair Trade. They sell a variety of hair products as well as hair extensions, as well as cosmetic and beauty products. They stock all of the best hair care products, one of them being the Matrix brand. Matrix is a fantastic brand often used in many salons, leaving your hair feeling and look wonderful.

I had heard so much about the Matrix Biolage ColorLast products, I couldn't wait to try them out for myself. I opted for the Matrix Biolage ColorLast Cera Repair. The aim of the product is to repair the look of colour treated strands of hair with strengthening ceramides and conditioning emollients, to help protect the shine of coloured hair and to also preserve colour vibrancy. I really wanted to try this product as I have dyed hair which I feel always looks quite dull and lifeless only a week or two after I dye it.

To use, you simply wash your hair as normal and then towel dry your hair. You then take the nozzle off the tube of the product to open it, and apply the product over the strands of hair which are mostly damaged and then apply to other sections of the hair. You leave the product on your hair for 5-10 minutes before washing out.

My hair feels super soft and glossy after using this on my hair. More importantly, my dyed hair looks more vibrant and not dull at all. I apply this product to the strands of hair which looks mostly dull, and also my roots. My hair colour is dyed chocolate brown, and often looks dull, but after using this product it now looks glossy and vibrant. It really feels luxurious and my hair feels the condition it would feel after visiting a salon. I am very impressed with this product and would definitely recommend to others that have dyed hair, which feels and looks lifeless. This product improves not only the look of the hair but also conditions it so it feels soft, glossy and looks shiny too.
I don't use this product after every wash as I don't feel I need to, as the product creates vibrant hair which lasts quite a long time.

The image below is of me after using the Matrix Biolage Color Last Cera Repair on my hair. I have blow - dryed my hair and this is the results.I think it is a huge improvement on my dull hair!
